Lovely outdoor area with screen. Nice food!

Nice pub and rooms were comfortable, clean with nice decor. Breakfast is self service continental only. No food when we arrived at 6.30pm Sunday. Seems a bit early to stop serving, but it does say this on website to be fair, so our fault for not checking. Had to settle for Dominos pizza delivered to the pub.

Rooms need a bit of maintenance.. Toilet roll holder, basin tap & shower all loose .. Staff were lovely but from the minute we arrived we were told the restaurant and bar shut early. Why ? Our table was at 5 pm and we felt rushed !! Shame.

The bedroom was tastefully decorated with a very good range of tea and coffee. Very clean. Bathroom was modern with a nice shower cubicle and a mirror with lighting. My partner said he was met by a very helpful male. We would consider staying again to try the pub food and use the lovely outdoor seating area. Situated conveniently for Bristol Airport for an overnight or a few days stay.

We didn’t arrive to this hotel until after midnight and we checked out quite early, so we didn’t use the bar or any of the facilities or stay for breakfast. I can say that the room was fine, everything is provided that you might need, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Only complaint was that the fan was dusty so we couldn’t use it and we couldn’t have the window open because the bins were under our window and were smelly. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful night here. Like many others, we used it as a stop over the night before an early flight from Bristol airport - which at 4am was less than 15 minutes drive away. The welcome we received on arrival was warm and friendly and we were shown to the beautiful room It wasn't a big room but it was spotlessly clean and dressed gorgeously. The Digital radio was on in the room as we were shown around makeing it feel warm and cosy. Tea/coffee in the room and you can ask for fresh milk. Soaps/shampoo available in the ensuite smelt devine. There was also a hairdryer in the bathroom to use for people with hair. We had dinner in the pub that evening and the food was AMAZING. Again, great service and, for the quality, not badly priced either. The bed was comfortable and the only regret was that we had to wake at 2:15am to get showered and leave for our flight. Because there are many guests who stay there for early flights, you can help yourself to breakfast. Everything is laid out for you to enjoy as the bar/restaurant isn't staffed 24hrs. There's tea/coffee, you can make toast, eat cereal, have a pastry - it was lovely. So I would recommend The George and very much look forward to returning.

The staff were excellent really helpful. The bed was very comfortable and our evening meal was very good.

Great room, friendly welcome, enjoyed the self service breakfast before an early flight.

Staff were very welcoming and tasty good value food. Comfortable bed and good tea and coffee facilities. Good quality toiletries and fluffy towels. We grabbed a couple of croissants and a granola/ yoghurt pot from the self service before heading out to the airport early morning. Although by a busy road, the room's double glazing made it very quiet and we slept really well. Thanks

Room excellent, food good

Room was spotless Breakfast - could of been better. Pastries were left out the night before which meant by the morning, it was very dry. Also, there was limited items available. Maybe think of ways where breakfast can be delightful. ie.a coffee machine, fresh cut fruit, cereal, breakfast pots. Not just pastries, fruite and yoghurt.

The rooms were really nice and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was laid out at 9pm, which I understand due to it being an airport hotel however this then meant that come the morning, there was not much of anything left over. There was 1 pastry left at 7.30am, and no staff until around to replenish this.

Great stay perfect for work trip and weekends away food was lovely!
