Fun type of quirky motel with lots of personality. Each room has a theme; we were in the Route 66 suite with a full kitchen. The kitchen was what drew us to the motel. We were missing a few items from the kitchen (pot holders...), and the office staff was quick to get the items for us. Recycling would be a helpful addition (I dislike tossing recyclables). Great location - quick walk to the lake, a block to downtown or the park/greenway. If we venture back to CDA, the Flamingo will be our first choice for places to stay.

Old School motor court - pull up to your hotel room door style. If it is all about location then Flamingo is the perfect spot, less than 10 minutes walking to all of downtown CD’A. Motel is dated, tattered, and old, but has charm for the area. Room was clean and stocked with all the necessities for a short 2 night stay. Nothing special, but was our best option for our visit to CD’A.

Amazing stay at an iconic motel that’s been around since the 50s!! The themed rooms are great and super clean!! Staff is amazing and you’re walking distance to everything downtown cda has to offer!!

I am a single mom with 5 children so i always get the cheapest room I can find when we go on trips. The Flamingo Motel was much more affordable for me than any other place in the area. The motel is outdated which is fine by me, it had the basics like a fridge and microwave. The wi-fi worked great. It was clean. Whomever i spoke with on the ohone during check in said something about a heater not working right? But had an alternitive in place if needed. I am really happy with our stay. It was affordable and it fit my whole family! The only thing i have to complain about was that the carpet was wet in many places, like soak your sock wet. Which was weird, and kinda gross.
