Verblijf was top. Mooie kamer en top faciliteiten. Locatie is erg mooi. Bosrijk en hoge duinbergen. Geeft een echt gevoel van ‘even weg zijn’. Een aanrader. Wij komen nog een keer langs.

The cozy rooms are on the small side but clean and comfortable. We forgot to tell the hotel about that one of us had a disability moving (ok with normal stairs) so we got a room with a lot of steep tiny stairs (very cozy and cool if you don’t have a disability). The breakfast was amazing. The spa area was nice. Very nice staff

What we like : - It’s a nice hotel with plenty of art work & localized in a beautiful & natural place - Their breakfast is good and we like what we ate at their restaurant. - There are great amenities for kids : kids room, playground, outdoor chess… It’s a nice place for families. What we don’t like : - Swimming pool was too cold. - Our room was very dark. It’s a pity for a suite. - And the main pain point was the staff which was very unhelpful : no advice regarding the area or the hotel : they gave us the keys, that’s it. They did’nt help us for finding a bike adapted to the size of our son or to charge our car… It’s a pity.

We stayed for two nights in a terrace room expecting a tranquil forest retreat, but it was anything but relaxing weekend. Room 1009 is opposite the indoor pool, so noise from children continued past 23:00 and started again around 7:00. Pool cleaning began at 6:20, and hallway vacuuming shortly after 7:00 added to the disturbance. The hotel is clean, but the atmosphere feels like a youth hostel/water park. The minimalistic room décor resembles a university dorm, and bathrobes cost an extra €10. Overall, not recommended unless you’re travelling with young children, as the hotel is extremely noisy. ⸻ If you need it even shorter, I can tighten it further.

The hotel is tucked away in Bergen, which is a very beautiful little high-end village near Alkmaar, The Netherlands. We stayed only for one night -- 17 hours to be precise -- as part of a larger group gathering. The group dinner was held at the hotel, and it was outstanding and highly recommended. Staff are nice. We had booked a room for two persons. Our room clean and with two windows overlooking a beautiful courtyard, but it was rather small -- about two feet on one side of a queen-size bed and a three-feet-band passage on the other sides -- with rather minimalistic furnishings and space. We had no room and place to put our luggage or unpack the immediate necessities. If we stay there again, we will definitely urge for a larger room.

Preis-Leistung waren für mich gut. Mehr hätte ich für das Zimmer nicht bezahlen wollen (es war zu diesem Zeitpunkt günstig). Bett groß und gut. Zimmer dunkel und kahl. 2 Nächte konnte ich es aber gut aushalten. Kleine Stufe zum Badezimmer -gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Schwimmbad war mein Highlight und die Lage ist wunderbar für Spaziergänge im Wald.

Die Lage und das Frühstück waren super. Der Saunabereich ist nur mit Schwimmbekleidung nutzbar. Der Pool ist schön und groß. Die Qualität und Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist aus unsere Sicht für ein 4-Sterne Hotel nicht gut. Vor allem der Flur ist richtig dreckig.
