Absolutely fantastic hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. Could not fault the service and overall experience. It is a tranquil haven in the busyness of Kathmandu. Perfect location and easy walking distance from the Durbar. Breakfast was also delicious. Could not recommend staying here enough.

The rooms were beautifully furnished with local handicrafts and everything was very comfortable! The breakfast was also excellent !

Népal is my 81 country to visit and Swarga boutique hotel is definitely in the top 10 hotels I have stayed. Not only it is absolutely beautiful, very nicely curated ( my daughter is an interior designer and loved it) but the kindness of the owner, of the staff they went the extreme extra mile to make it an absolute amazing experience for us! They helped us with everything ( mistake in reserving, problem with luggage… you name it) they couldn’t have been kinder. The breakfast was also fantastic( choice of Nepalese, American etc) so if I ever came back to Nepal I would definitely return here!! Thank you soooo much for treating us so well!

This place is a charm. The well thought out and cozy rooms, cafe all works for your inner self! I have loved the coffee here. An additional bonus to an already enchanted self.

We returned to the Swarga after staying at other bigger hotels and immediately enjoyed the more personal feel of a smaller hotel. The interior with genuine Nepalese artefacts and the delightful courtyard for breakfast make for a charming and relaxing ambiance. The excitement of old Kathmandu is just around the corner, yet the hotel itself is an oasis of calm and quiet. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We would certainly return here.

Amazing hotel nestled in the heart of Thamel (the tourist district). Very walkable to great restaurants and the owner Rahul helped give me multiple suggestions for food and tour guides. Staff was extremely nice and helpful as well!

GREAT RECEPTION SERVICE . NICE TO BE WELCOMED INTO WHAT WAS ONCE A FAMILY’S HOME.. Lot of noise around the property but we slept through . Located within walking distance of various traditional cuisines and wonderful nepalian architecture.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The communication and assistance was above and beyond. Rahul sent a lot of helpful information ahead of time and was able to help arrange us a driver day of to take us around the sites. The breakfast food and espresso drinks were delicious and you can feel the culture in the rooms itself. We loved our stay here and highly recommend!

If you were considering booking, don’t even second-guess it. I stayed for one night upon arriving to Kathmandu and cannot recommend it highly enough. I was traveling from the United States to Nepal for the first time and Rahul was in contact with me for multiple days before my arrival and arranged for a driver to pick me up at the airport. The actual hotel is beautiful, super clean, and the staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. The heritage breakfast and cappuccino was excellent, especially when you get to enjoy it in the courtyard. I will definitely be staying again!

The cappuccino was, without a doubt, the best I think I've ever had, and the entire breakfast menu offered delicious options. I highly recommend Swarga Heritage Hotel to anyone seeking a high-quality, serene, and thoroughly enjoyable stay in Kathmandu.

We highly recommend this hotel. Swagat is a beautiful and peaceful sanctuary conveniently located in Thamel. Constructed with salvaged antique carved timber, it blends modern construction and ancient styles with artistry throughout. Our room feels safe and is spacious and clean. The food, prepared in a small kitchen, is flavorful and impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and service from the ever-patient staff.

Amazing staff and great hotel.

Beautifully decorated hotel reflecting much of the Nepali artisans craft in woodwork and antiques. Staff very helpful and the owner reached out to offer suggestions about shopping and answering any other question you might have. Breakfast was included and quite good except for the bread which was not to our taste…quite dry even with butter. However a very minor point. We loved the fresh seasonal fruit juice on offer which more than made up for it. In the Thamel district so very close to Durbar Square and shopping for that perfect Nepali souvenir. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The staff was so helpful arranging a guide and driver for us and so many helpful suggestions. The complimentary ala carte brunch was wonderful. There were so many choices and the food was delicious. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed staying at Swarga, a cozy place in the middle of the busy streets of Thamel. The breakfast was delicious, the host was super gracious in sending us recommendations for transportation and food around the area before we even arrived. They truly made us feel at home.

Rahul and his team have created an elegant, traditional and modern hotel: where customer service is a central focus, with many of the staff available throughout the day to assist with your enquiries. The hotel itself is beautiful, with flowers floating in water each morning and artwork adorning the walls of every level of the building and lobbies. The cafe is monitored throughout the day, and is an excellent spot to watch travellers come and go; drink your morning coffee and if your a westerner dine with bacon and eggs (the eggs are the freshest I’ve tried). If I ever return to Nepal, Swarga Boutique Hotel will be the base camp for my stay, in the bustling and vibrant Thamel area.
