Whilst our overall experience was very good it was let down by two things : 1. On arrival there was no-one on the reception desk to enable us to check in and no-one was in any hurry to try and find someone to check us in. 2. For our evening meal, again there was distinct lack of staff around once our meal had been served. On finishing our meal we waited for someone/anyone to at least speak to us but as no-one was around we simply left.

Staff were very kind but there are stairs leading to the room that are rough to bring suitcases up. They have water provided and the bar staff were very keen to fill my water bottle up which was nice. If you are planning to come during the summer Don’t. They don’t have AC and it got quite hot in the room.

Wunderschönes Hotel im altenglischen Stil mit tollen Dekorationen, die Zimmer waren einfach, zweckmäßig und sauber. Das delikate Frühstück geht weit über das Angebot von meinen bisher besuchten Hotels hinaus und bietet neben einem reichhaltigen Buffet auch noch aufpreisfrei typisch englisches Frühstück mit Bohnen, gegrillten Würstchen und Schinken, geräuchertem Lachs und Eiern entweder pochiert, als Rühr-oder Spiegelei an. Auch vegetarische und vegane Gerichte sind zu finden. Ebenso eine lange Karte für Mittags- oder Abendgerichte. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich freundliche und jederzeit hilfsbereite Personal. Für mich gibt es keine Frage...Dieses Hotel White Hart werde ich noch mehrmals besuchen. Eine glatte 1+

Ok hotel nice enough good location

Parking easy and safely tucked away behind hotel. Lovely spacious room and fresh bedding, very clean. Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, lots of choice, in lovely large dining room.

Parking was easy

Hotel is old but what it lacks in modern amenities it makes up for in character and charm. Car parking was great, staff friendly, room dated but clean and comfortable.

The staff were excellent but the breakfast options were not good. Felt like cuts were made which spolt the experience

This is a lovely place to stay,the staff are excellent, the food is excellent However the place is a little worn around the edges and requires some tlc.i would definitely stay again and would recomend staying.

The breakfast was very nice but what let this place down was. the following. The continental breakfast wasn't included! Room was very clean. The bathroom was up two steps, which felt weird and the shower area had black mould on a couple of tiles. The floor was extremely uneven, it made us feel like we were on a ship that was listing! The bed was so hard, it felt like we were sleeping on a board. There was a hole in the floorboards covered up with carpet.

Everything was great but a mini fridge in the rooms would have made this outstanding. It was really needed and missed

The staff were helpful.The room was large.Breakfast was good & was the sunday roast.Parking was ok,but when busy not available.Had to park in sainsbury's on the saturday night until a spot was free.Luckily sainsbury car park is free from 1800-0700.Have to register car to get free parking.

Clean and nice lovely place to stay

Town Centre nearby. Sainsburys 4 minute walk away. Hotel room fine for my needs, with shower and tv. As it is a pub the noise was very loud until after 11, but I've stayed here before so I was aware of this. Breakfast very good with a selection of buffet food and cooked meals. Staff very helpful. Price good for two nights, and by booking breakfast at the same time I saved quite a bit. Could do with a lot more milk sachets in the room, but a member of staff did get me a jug of milk and more tea bags when I asked. As I stay here to see family who live around the corner, I will definitely stay again. Decent priced hotel.

Noisiest room I've ever been in. Could hear everything from neighbours... all night, and the glass recycling being picked up at 5:30am. Shower was good, and bed itself comfy.
