hôtel Azalai 10/10 - Franchement rien à redire. Tout le staff est au petit soin, à l'écoute et près à vous aider. Nous sommes restés 6 nuits et c'était génial. La chambre était top. L'hôtel est beau, très propre avec une belle sur mer. Il y a des petits salons à chaque étage de l'hôtel. La piscine est très belle. Près de la piscine, il y a un snack bar qui s'appelle Tamar & Kora. La nourriture y est très bonne. Grande adepte des desserts, le fondant au chocolat est excellent. Les serveurs sont très aimables. Le petit dejeuner de l'hôtel est très bon (de 6h à 10h de mémoire). Il y a beaucoup de choix - petit dej intercontinental mais aussi spécialités sénégalaises/africaine de l'ouest. J'ai également testé le room service et c'était très bon. L'hôtel est très bien situé, très accessible. Dans un périmètre de 15 min de marche, vous avez une boulangerie, un fast food. Si vous avez besoin de faire du change, il y a un bureau de change à droite de la réception. C'est vraiment pratique et sinon il y a des distributeurs au niveau -1. Au niveau -1, il y a aussi un bar, une boutique de prêt à porter, et le restaurant qui accueille le petit dejeuner le matin. C'est aussi par ce niveau qu'on accède à la piscine extérieur et au bar. Un grand merci à tout le personnel (Anne Laure, Franck, Sadio,....)

This is the best trip I’ve had this year and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Also, for those who are celiacs, it’s the best. I’ve had zero crossed contamination. 👍

J’ai passé un excellent séjour. L’accueil a été chaleureux dès mon arrivée, avec un personnel toujours souriant, professionnel et disponible pour répondre à mes besoins. La chambre était confortable, propre et très bien équipée, offrant un cadre parfait pour se reposer après une journée bien remplie. J’ai particulièrement apprécié la qualité des services, ainsi que l’ambiance calme et agréable de l’hôtel. L’emplacement est également idéal, ce qui facilite les déplacements dans Dakar. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à toute personne recherchant confort, qualité et hospitalité. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir ! 😊

Excellent hôtel, véritable 5 étoiles, personnel compétent et chaleureux, chambre spacieuse, emplacement parfait et pratique, bars et restaurants excellents, piscine avec terrasse et musique, vue magnifique tant de la chambre que de la piscine directement sur l’océan!

I was hoping for a positive experience as the reviews looked great, however the hotel stay fell short of our expectations. Hotel staff reception were not very friendly nor welcoming. Better customer service training would be helpful to ensuring a better stay for clients. The hallways and hotel are extremely perfumed with incense and oil diffuser. If you have any adversion to strong smells, the hotel is not a great fit. I believe reducing the diffuser/incense intensity would make for a smoother experience. The room itself was mediocre. Mattress rock hard, the pillows are square decorative pillows and the bathroom shower had mold in it. The shower door didn’t close either, making for water leaking on the floor from the shower.Also not offering conditioner in the shower makes for a difficult stay for women. If you need a basic hotel then this place can work. We didn’t eat at the hotel either as the prices were quite expensive for a buffet style experience.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. However, some amenities, like the microwave which required a code, were unnecessary and superfluous, making them difficult to use. The landline for calling room service was out of order. Despite this, I would definitely return.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the azalaï hotel in Dakar in January and we loved it. The premises are in excellent condition. The service and the food is amazing. Someone opened the door of the taxi and someone else took us to our room, I forgot his name, he was very helpful, giving us all the informations and phone numbes needed and showing us how the TV works, I felt very pampered straight from the beginning. We were checked in by Moussa who was very helpful, especially sorting out the WiFi for us. We had a room with a balcony with ocean view which was really nice. The room was spacious, the bathroom with walk-in shower was great. The bed was comfortable, we slept well. I used the gym in the morning, it had everything you need and it was clean. The infinity swimming pool was very nice and with lifeguards and the big screen with the football on was great. Aziz at the bar was amazing and attentive and Kevin our waiter was great. We had dinner at the restaurant. The food was delicious, Elhadji, Fatima and Turpin took good care of us and made our stay special. The breakfast buffet is perfect, it's got everything you could possibly want from savoury to sweet. They have an egg station with the lady making omelettes, fried eggs or anything egg related. Awa was lovely and made sure we had a good breakfast. I also used the spa with an extra charge. I bought the 1 hour pass, including sauna, hammam and jacuzzi. It was great. The hotel is very well staff and feels very secure.
