We arrived at Andaman Castle on the recommendation of friends and booked a delux room. Firstly we were told we had no booking, then we were told that he had not booked the half board. We were shown to our room when this was sorted , it smelled dirty and damp and had blood on the pillows, the cleaner insisted it was fine-and it was only nail polish!! They told us there was nothing else available, but when we insisted they changed room-not much better but it had a patio door to open and air out the smell. Yea time came and everything we ordered was not available-they supplied us with veg curry, rice and a roti, no choice, and they said the following day it would be chicken or fish. In the morning we had breakfast, and were then told we had to move rooms the following day to make room for someone else, we told them this was not suitable to us but they said we had no choice. We decided to leave and make another booking, the manager then informed Trip as we hadn’t booked out before 9 am, we would charge us for day 2!! I would not go here again, and would not recommend it to anyone-there are much better places to stay.
