Beautiful, new, clean hotel with great staff. Standard room is a bit small and it’s a bit of a walk to the centre and about 20 minutes with luggage from the train station.

Na hier de afgelopen maanden al 3x te hebben verbleven, verdiend deze plek een recensie. Voor mij, is Metzlr alles wat ik zoek in een hotel. Ik reis zakelijk, en veel in hotels. Het is een ontzettend relaxte plek, met fijne service, een heerlijke kamer en goed restaurant. De locatie is prachtig, en praktisch. Het personeel uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Aanrader! Zowel privé als zakelijk!

Toplocatie naast de voormalige koepelgevangenis, op loopafstand van het centrum. Goede douche, goed bed met keuze tussen hard en zacht kussen. Kamer is comfortabel maar krap - nauwelijks plek om je koffer kwijt te kunnen. Er is geen tv. Check-in is in het restaurant, wat niet zo handig is want het personeel is (ook) met andere dingen bezig en je staat nogal in de weg met al je bagage. De bejegening was iets té joviaal naar onze smaak.

Had a very nice stay and hotel will be beautiful once construction is done. Room was very modern and clean. Nice shower and bed with nice lighting. Different to not have a TV in the room with no available news as no lobby with newspapers. Breakfast was good and plentiful but it would be nice to have some variety as we were there 5 nights and it was exactly the same. But it was good.

New hotel built alongside an excellent restaurant. 15 minutes walk from station and town centre.

Ganz neue Zimmer, sehr hübsch gemacht! Leider kein Kleiderschrank vorhanden. Kein TV. Sehr nettes Personal! Begrenzte Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel für 29,- pro Tag

the House was still doing some refursbishment works, so we did not had the full experience, as of October 25 this should be better. People are very kind, the Restaurant was excellent. One point to improve was the Breakfast which was served in the Cafeteria next door during the works, let's hope it will ipprove after the house if full ready.

I suggest you have a number to call if I had issues like lost key? Needed more towels?? There was no front desk coverage after 5 pm.

Very basic hotel. Small rooms. No TV. No amenities

The room was comfortable, with a small sitting area and side table good for having a tea or coffee. King bed was good. Nice shower. Be aware the spiral staircase if you have mobility concerns as there is no lift. Lovely breakfast and staff in the Deli Cafe.
