We only used the Fox for bed and breakfast so cannot comment on the food except that our breakfast was delayed because a new chef had been taken on and it was his first day. Our cosy little and quiet room in the courtyard had very comfortable beds and all the usual facilities. Pub was very quiet on the Tuesday evening which surprised but did not deter us. The overflow car park needs major attention as it was full of deep potholes. Would stay again.

This is a fantastic pub to stay and dine at. 4 nights here with wonderfully comfortable and quiet room. Excellent staff, great evening menu and food. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing walking right from the front door, car did not move for the whole time. The breakfast is the only thing that needs attention… the full English is good quality and well cooked but took 30-40 mins to arrive and on cold plates - easily rectified I hope. The yoghurt is a cheap sweetened option only and limited fruit. All can be easily sorted and do not let this put you off as I am sure this review they will act on asap as they are overall amazing there!!

This is a lovely pub. Beer is excellent. Food very good and staff extremely friendly. The room was clean and simple. Bed not great but its not a luxury destination. Overall top drawer.
