Room smelled like cigarettes, no WiFi ,a/c filter dirty

The Vybe Brooklyn / Flatbush was an interesting stay. From the street view, the hotel looked closed. No sign on the front doors indicating where to enter the hotel. There was a lone marquis sign way up towards the fifth floor, definitely not visible from street level. It appears as if this Hotel was possibly closed during covid times and then reopened recently under new management. The rooms were decent, however there was a fine layer of dust covering the walls and surfaces. The room was too small for the two queen beds located within the room. The bathroom was nice. The mini fridge that was there was covered with stickers like it was in someone's college dorm room at some point in time. As for the ventilation system, not sure if that was working because there was a fine mist of smoke, vape and incense. The neighborhood was working class with some questionable and colorful characters sprinkled throughout. The restaurants that were located nearby were authentic and excellent, especially Angelo's Pizza. If you are looking for a place to sleep while seeing a show at the King's Theater across the street, this is the place - affordable and decent, not perfect.

The room has a floor to ceiling window which faces East. It is so cheerful.

The breakfast was mediocre. Didn’t come with a plastic knife for the bagel spread. It was healthy, though, so I find that alright. I looked on the website, and it said “smoke free,” yet when I checked the room, it smelled of smoke. The bathroom smelled worse. There was a rule for noise complaints after 10pm, yet people were still loud in the hallways. The keycard ended up not working, so I had to get replacements.

Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Nice property, friendly staff. Coffee machine in the room and in the concourse area. Close to shopping area with parking 6 am to midnight.

People smoking cigarettes really smelly but overall good place .

Nice modern set ups in the rooms. They could use larger pillows.

Run down hotel in the hood. Smells like someone smokes a lot of weed in the building. Staff was vey nice though.

Room was just like I saw it on the internet 👌 could improve on the breakfast …but overall it was good for me !

Roaches in the room, everyone it’s making noise partying smoking. The area it’s not safe I would not recommend this to anyone if it wasn’t that I didn’t want to lose my money I would’ve left the same night.

I do not advise anyone stays here. Let me say staff would accommodate you when asked but the facility gives shelter vibes. There is one iron on the property that has rented out with a $20 deposit. The breakfast is only given if asked and it is a bagged lunch. The walls are thin, you can heard the doors slam and conversations in the hallway. I do not want to be mean because the staff can only do so much. This seems like a place where homeless people can stay a few hours or couples can meet up and have adult interactions for a few hours. I apologize for being so harsh but it is advertised as a decent facility and it’s very misleading. Do not book

Staff was nice but the walls are thin and i saw a number of roaches. No wifi and only had about 20 channels to watch, didn't even have a channel sheet.

Under Construction but could be little better but overall was a good stay
