I booked this as it’s my birthday week. The owner was friendly, greets us every time we arrive. When we arrived he apologised as there’s a glitch where he can’t find our booking, but he still entertain us and gave us a free upgrade. We love the place and it’s a memorable experience, got a power outage for a day too. Well even there’s an unexpected power outage he still cares very much offered us waters and apologised for it. There’s a generator but electrical issue, not a big deal. Lastly got a day pass at outrigger beach resort for cheap price from him… Lovely place 2hours from airport and there’s three restaurants nearby and a view point

Had such an amazing time at the beautiful peaceful location just 5-10min walk from Maui bay beach. Property: I came as a little solo retreat to take a break from NZ winters. The unit was exceptionally clean, fully stocked and I appreciate being able to cook myself- although there are a few restaurants and grocery store within 10min walk. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the fact I could get away from bright lights at night and the blackout blinds. The wifi was perfect for calls/work, and never had a glitch. The property was quiet and beautifully landscaped with abundant fruit trees and veggie gardens, and I was even treated to fresh papaya and banana's and offered garden veggies! I loved going down for swims at sunrise/sunset and was often the only person at the pier. The beach is swimmable all day, although at low tide it's recommended to swim off the end of the pier. The local's are incredibly friendly, most speak English and as a solo female travelled I never once felt at all unsafe. HOSTS! This was the absolutely best part of the stay. Dee and Ken and their family were incredibly welcoming, helpful and made me feel at home the minute I arrived. Anything I needed Ken helped organise and was always only a text away. Nacho (the dog) was a fantastic tour guide and would accompany me to the beach guarding me all day until I was ready to walk home. Thank you so much. Cant wait to return!

The location is perfect, close to shops and restaurants. We loved the atmosphere, the veranda overlooking the flowing water feature which is very relaxing, and the vegetable garden is a plus. The owner, as well as his dogs, were friendly. The owner even recommended the jetty nearby where we took a dip the following day. This property is trully a hidden gem in the Sigatoka area! Highly recommended! The only problem we have encountered was finding it on the first day. The owner should put a signage leading to his property. Other than that, all went well.

The host goes out of his way to make you feel at ease and answered questions we didn't even know we had. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance away and some amazing snorkelling and baby shark sightings out past that Maui jetty. Their garden is spectacular and all done by hand and Dee's brewed coffee is better than even Cafe Planet's up the road. 10/10 will try again . Thank you Ken and Dee :)
