Azulea es un hotel precioso, las habitaciones muy limpias y sumamente confortables. Su personal muy servicial, amable y sonriente. Desde Fanny hasta Miguel y Carlos, todos son muy amables. Lo único que no amamos en general fue el restaurante. El menú está un poco desequilibrado, faltan opciones sencillas para desayuno y cena principalmente y los precios un poco elevados. Volvería mañana mismo al hotel.

The staff in the restaurant were excellent. Food and presentation of the view was great. View from our lagoon front room was beautiful. Weren't impressed for only getting two free bottles of water for our entire stay. For the price of the room water should be included free for entire stay. Lack of personality in the room due to no artwork on the walls vs the picture on their site when booking. Would have been nice to have tissues and body lotion provided in the room along with coffee maker and coffee. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Muy amables y excelente Chef

Slidt værelse med vægge, der var ved at falde sammen. Det stank af kloark, der fløj flagermusen rundt over alt og ind under pavillion med restaurant. Der stod, der var dobbeltsenge, men de var kun lidt større end enkeltmandssenge. Vi kunne på ingen måde være 4 mennesker i de senge. Pool var lille bitte. Billeder af stedet afspejler slet ikke virkeligheden. Vi endte med at flytte der fra, men fik så dårlig behandling og personalet var ikke imødekommende overfor en løsning. Stod til at koste 34.000,- for en uge, men med en promotion med 50%. Stadig slet ikke prisen værd og det bliver falsk markedsføring.

We chose the Royal one. If that was the best / than its a real disappointment. Everything is old, the roof had holes, the smell in the bathroom was disgusting. The only good point- the restaurant- they have a real good chef.

El personal del hotel es muy atento y muy preocupado por hacer nueatra estadia muy agradable . Sobre todo el Sr. Alejandro . Todo el personal es muy amable e hicieron que nuestras vacaciones fueran increibles

Perfect hotel for relaxation. The view is breathtaking. The room was huge we liked the separate toilet and shower stalls, the multi use shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We would have liked a bottle of lotion too. The on-site restaurant patio was a real bonus, the food was delicious and plated beautifully The waiters were very personable and professional.

Very nice place to stay while in Bacalar. The rooms are very comfortable, could use some robes and nice local lotions but other than every room has a different view if the lagoon. Food was exquisite and staff very friendly and always willing to help. If you are interested in Bacalar, look up this place.

What a dream stay. Everyone is SO nice. Our room, while rustic, was amazing. You can walk just a few feet away and overlook some of the most beautiful views in the word. Kayaks and paddle boarding are included. Breakfast was free every day and was delicious. The staff was so attentive. You cannot find service like this at the Four Seasons. The waiters and maintenance staff were so accommodating. One caveat and it has nothing to do with the hotel, we got bit by mosquitoes a lot in the room. I recommend you bring lots of bug spray and even a plug in to avoid it. The staff had a whole bottle of Off spray in their dining area which is a great idea. Can’t wait to go back!

Breakfast with only a couple of options, but quite good: fruits and especially eggs

The location of the hotel is perfect with private access to the Lagoon which was beautiful. There were some problems with the water drainage and lots of sounds of water in the pipes at all hours which was frustrating. The food that was included in the breakfast was mediocre. Overall great location and a very nice area, but facilities and food could be better.

We had a wonderful time at Azulea Bacalar. We stayed in the best room they had but unfortunately a few things were not working well. Blackout drapes were not the right size so the windows were not all they way covered. Water pressure was not the best, the terrace was missing furniture with cushions. The hotel was overall clean, the staff was amazing, and the food was seriously sooo good. Quite the chef! Thank you to Miguel and everyone that took good care of us. They reimbursed us for one of the nights we didn't have water.Everyone was so attentive. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful one!!

Charming small hotel with spacious rooms and all the necessary amenities. Gorgeous views of the lake. The staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

El acceso a la laguna increíble y en general súper agradable la estancia; Únicamente 2 cosas que recomiendo; 1 colocar un bote de basura en la habitación ya que solo había en en sanitario. 2.-Ampliar las opciones de desayuno.
