The breakfast buffet is outstanding—by far the best I've experienced at any hotel I've stayed in (similar cost). At just $275 Mexican pesos (roughly $16 USD), it's an incredible deal.

Muy buena experiencia en el Hotel Catedral. Destaca la atención del personal de recepción, equipaje y el restaurante buffet: todos muy amables y eficientes. Las habitaciones son cómodas, el hotel está limpio, bonito y con excelente ubicación a espaldas del Zócalo, además de buenas vistas y amenidades. Gran detalle: cuentan con menú de almohadas y varias opciones en la habitación, algo que realmente se agradece y marca diferencia. Como áreas de mejora: en la terraza el servicio no fue del todo consistente entre mesas, y el restaurante a la carta es bastante lento. En general, es una muy buena opción y con pequeños ajustes podría ser excelente.

Hermoso lugar!!! Muy tranquilo para descansar y muy limpio y a una cuadra del centro histórico. El personal muy atento a todo.

Reseña del hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ La experiencia general fue muy satisfactoria, destacando la limpieza, comodidad y excelente relación calidad-precio. La habitación se encontraba impecable, con acceso mediante tarjeta y mirilla, aunque el seguro es difícil de poner. Presenta leve desgaste en marcos del baño y contactos eléctricos, pero sin afectar su funcionalidad. La iluminación es cálida, ideal para descansar. La cama es muy cómoda, con variedad de almohadas. Incluye un Smart TV LG con buena resolución y acceso a apps de streaming y YouTube. El baño está impecable con iluminación cálida, secadora funcional y regadera con buena presión de agua, aunque ligeramente clorada. Lavamanos e inodoro en óptimas condiciones. El elevador funciona bien, aunque los botones táctiles pueden fallar ocasionalmente. El personal de recepción es serio pero profesional, mientras que el de estacionamiento es amable y atento. El precio es económico y competitivo, lo que refuerza el valor de la estancia. Conclusión: Un hotel cómodo y funcional, con pequeños detalles a mejorar, pero sin afectar una experiencia positiva.

Room dated. Can’t charge devices unless you are in the room. Toilet made noise all night. Breakfast outstanding.

Breakfast was delicious, bakery goods are made on site. Fruits were all fresh.

The location is the best! We enjoyed the coffee in the lobby early in the mornings. The breakfast buffet was delicious! The staff were all nice and helpful.

The hotel’s location was excellent. We were able to walk in Centro and it was convenient to get back to from other parts of the city. We were given likely the worst room in the hotel: 101. It had no exterior view as claimed in the listing. The window went to an interior shaft. The room laminate floor was never cleaned. The mattress was comfortable, but over-sized for the sheets. So, the bottom sheet never stayed in place. Multiple times we were awakened after 11pm by renovations in the hotel restaurant: drills, saws and hammers. When we reached out to the front desk, they did not think it was a problem. They promised to get back to us, and never called back to the room. We were given complimentary breakfast one day. It would not have been worth the extra cost.
