We were expecting a well maintained, boutique hotel, sadly it was not. Although refurbished in Nov 2014, the state of our room (1) lacked maintenance. Although each was relatively minor, when 10 issues are present, then the result is a disappointment. I relayed these to the receptionist on departure, and she seemed reluctant to seriously acknowledge the problem. This summed up the general feeling of laissez-faire.

The location is ideal for the seafront and restaurants. The bathroom was very spacious however the room itself was extremely tight. Unfortunately the service was so bad, I will not be returning. When checking in, we had to speak to 3 different members of staff before finding out which room we were in, and not one of those staff members even said hello or greeted us in any way. They ran past us trying not to acknowledge our present, We were just left standing there with absolutely no information given that it was not busy there was only 1 other guest sat at the bar, it was an unnecessary and a disgraceful performance.

Enjoyed our stay. We needed move rooms as we were having trouble with bathroom door but reception sorted it straight away. Staff were friendly

Perfect stay! Would have loved to stay longer. Room 9 with sea view (got upgraded last min) what a blessing to wake up with sea view with a cup of tea! Bed super confortable (king size), bathroom with high standard and super clean. Breakfast fresh and simple card, i.e means fresh produce and it was. Super nice staff. If I can come back, I would!

Room was excellent bed supper comfy and the pillows amazing! Had an amazing steak for dinner with peppercorn sauce! Breakfast full English on point highly recommended

Staff were great. Rooms are not very large and have limited hanging space. A blind on one of the balcony doors was broken and did not close. The bed was comfy. There was quite a bit of traffic noise as we were right over the road. Breakfast was awful, but dinner was lovely.

Schönes Zimmer mit Meersicht, tolles Nachtessen, freundliches Personal Great room with ocean-view! We had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant! The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Yes we had a sea view. No pets thank goodness.
