The room was spotless and the staff 10/10

Nossa estadia no UMi Tulum foi simplesmente inesquecível. Desde a chegada até o check-out, tudo superou as expectativas. O hotel é lindo, com uma estrutura impecável, design elegante e integração perfeita com a natureza. As áreas comuns, beach club e piscina são excelentes. Ficamos em um quarto lindíssimo, de frente para o mar, muito confortável, espaçoso e com uma vista maravilhosa. A limpeza foi impecável durante toda a estadia. A comida é excelente, tanto no restaurante quanto no beach club. Pratos muito bem preparados, ingredientes frescos e um café da manhã delicioso à beira-mar. O atendimento merece destaque: toda a equipe é extremamente atenciosa e simpática. Um elogio especial para a Michele, que foi simplesmente incrível durante toda a nossa estadia — sempre atenciosa, eficiente e cuidando de cada detalhe para que tudo estivesse perfeito. Também destacamos o Oscar, Manuel e Jaime, sempre muito educados e prestativos. Outros nomes infelizmente não lembro, mas toda a equipe foi excepcional. O hotel também tem eventos muito bem organizados, com ótima vibe e público agradável. O UMi Tulum entrega a combinação perfeita de conforto, localização incrível, excelente gastronomia e atendimento impecável. Com certeza voltaremos e recomendamos sem pensar duas vezes.

The resort staff was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Diego, Ricardo, and Marisol for their outstanding hospitality and impeccable attention to detail. Even our beach bar servers, Victor and Oscar, went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal and unforgettable. For anyone seeking an intimate, beautifully maintained resort in Tulum, this is truly the place to be.

Amazing stuff and amazing atmosphere beautiful room

This place is so special. It is absolutely beautiful and the staff are incredible and so attentive. My fiancée and I stayed here mid November and the beach and water were so clean. The food and drinks were beyond delicious. Special thank you to Ricardo who made our stay at Umi extra enjoyable and upgraded our room. We will miss this place but definitely be back ❤️

We had a great stay, the room ocean view with rooftop was amazing and the staff was very nice making sure our vacation was perfect, thank you for a great week!

Overall service was not what we expected in that pricerange. Had to switch rooms because of mold. Werent aware of the party music at the weekends

The hotel is very well located in Tulum beach, with direct access to the beach. The staff are really friendly and helpful, as soon as we arrived we were greeted with a very warm welcome from Eliseo, and every member of staff from the concierge team to the restaurant team were always friendly and helpful. I really liked how they communicate with you via WhatsApp before you arrive and during your stay, which is very convenient. Our room was beautiful and relaxing with sea views. Breakfast was included and it was a generous breakfast with fruit and yoghurt plus another breakfast meal on top, also juice and coffees included. We appreciated the long breakfast hours from 8am-1pm so we could take our time and relax. The food is very good quality and reasonable prices in the area. They really take care of nature and are animal friendly, caring for their environment. If there was 1 thing to advise to the hotel I would suggest to have umbrellas for the beach beds. When we laid on the beach, there was no umbrellas for shade so we had to move under a tree. Thank you to the Umi team for making it a great stay.

Overall the hotel was lovely - but I asked a few times why there was nothing being done to manage the outrageous mosquito situation and was told usually they do but they just weren’t now. Every other hotel and restaurant we visited throughout our stay had copal burning as the smoke keeps the mosquitos manageable. I left covered in horrible bites despite going through two bottle of spray. I would wake up with new ones. So… beware.

We absolutely loved our syay at Umi tulum. The staff was so kind and accommodating, they even upgraded our room to a beautiful beach front room ! Breakfasts each morning were delicious and cooked to order. The d.j sets at 2pm each day were a great vibe. We feel so lucky to have stayed at this beautiful property.

Our room was the best beach view. We could walk out of our room onto the sand. There was a private room pool on our patio. All the staff was amazing. Ricardo at the front desk was so great and helpful in all our bookings. The food was so good we really only ate at the hotel. Our 6 day trip was simply perfect because of UMi hotel. I highly recomend them! Thanks to their fine staff!!

Diego & ricardo were amazing! Diego did what he could to aleviate all inconveniences of the room! However, they still remained. Fromthe ceilingn room leaking down drips of water, to No hot water whatsoever. To shower water running into bathroom floor due to no door or cover, ,the door itself to the room made out of wood in a way that leaves it opned and not sealed to block any mosquitoes/outside insects that disturbed our sleep and uncomfortableness! We paid for a birthday arrangement that came out as nice as the Sun allowed but still grateful to diego above all! Did offer upgrade room but we did not want the darker colors that came with it. Ours was bright and light. Just very poor Management from whomever!

Communication through WhatsApp was good. The staff responded in a timely matter. Breakfast was good. However, there were cats around the property and my daughter was allergic to them. It was not stayed before booking. Until it was time to check out things were great, but they wanted to charge me a fee to clean the towels because of makeup stains that were washable. They also tried to say it was blood at first. I was very upsetting to have paid and tipped workers cash to then get charge to clean towels after a stay. No one should have to pay to clean towels it’s a hotel towels are common things to account for.

This hotel is spectacular. When we were there, it was a little bit quiet, but that was perfect because we had a lot of one-on-one attention from the staff and they really took extra care to make sure that we were very comfortable. Riccardo at the front desk was an exceptional host. Highly recommend.
