We stayed in 401 our room was so cute! Beautifully decorated and super clean and comfortable. We had a nice balcony with a private Jacuzzi. The breakfast was cooked to order eggs with a nice brunch buffet. Check in was great, a gentleman was there to help us upon arrival which isn't typical but was so helpful. We highly recommend King Charles Boutique!

When I checked in the machine printed my room key that didn’t work. The phone to call for assistance wouldn’t connect so I had to use my phone that cost me to use. They buzzed me into our room and luckily there was another key card in the room that worked. Never offered any reimbursement for the call either over the phone or in person when we checked out.

Lovely little hotel. Both bed and breakfast was better than expected. Main concern is that is that the bars around play really loud music until 1am.

Great breakfast, air conditioned room and great amenities. Only complaint is that the street is very loud - to no fault of the hotel, just watch out!

Localização excelente, no meio do centro histórico de Malta, com diversos bons restaurantes perto. Apesar da rua movimentada, a vedação acústica é muito boa, não ouve nada nos quartos. Café da manhã padrão, não é surpreendente, mas tem algumas opções para pedir que ajudam a compor.

Very nice hotel BUT very very loud outside in the street that ecoed in to the room and that was not nice

There is a very loud bar below this hotel and the room didn't stop jumping until 02:00 in the morning. A/C also would not cool so room was stiflingly hot. Booked another hotel overnight and moved out the next morning. Would avoid unless you are a heat-loving, party going night owl!

設備もスタッフもサービスも全て大変良かったので、ホテルそのものは五つ星です。広々としていて、インテリアもスタイリッシュで清潔で、朝食も充実していました。温かい卵料理やベーコンも出してくれました。 問題は、深夜１時まで路上での大音量の音楽、人々の叫び声、ダンスがマルタの法律で認められていて、その場がホテルのすぐそばだったことです。(ホテルで調べてわかりました)朝は爽やかで、夕方ホテルに戻った時まではいいのですが、夜遅くなればなるほど、音量は上がり、野外コンサート会場の隣に泊まっている感じでした。スタッフの方々がとても良かったので、申し訳ありませんが、滞在としては不満にいたします。昼のバレッタ観光のロケーションとしては良いです。

Stay was excellent. The breakfast and housekeeping staff were very attentive and accommodating. Food good. Room clean. Location perfect in old town, above bar, loud music at night on weekends. Communication by text message was a challenge -did not receive any replies at all to specific questions, eg checking out, where to store luggage if early. Had to call with WhatsApp for answers. Had trouble with self check in. Message on screen stated something like “check in is invalid” to call a number, instead of saying the room isn’t ready. Caused unnecessary anxiety and concern.

I really liked the hotel. It was in a good location. the staff was wonderful and the breakfast was good. The air conditioning was excellent along with the shower. Great water pressure. The two downfalls and the reason we would not return was 1) the noise level at night lasting until 2-230am. There is a bar next door that plays very loud EDM (Electronic Dance Music) into the morning. The vibration from the music kept us from sleeping. Even my pillow was vibrating from the bass. 2) No receptionist to assist you with checking in, just self check. Found it very confusing. The sign stated there would be a receptionist from 2pm-5pm? daily but we only saw the person once in the 5 days we were there.

Praktisk hotell med veldig sentral plassering i gamlebyen. Det ligger midt i en restaurantgate, så du må tåle noe støy. Veldig bra frokost. Innsjekking på automat, men grei bakcupløsning hvis det er noe.

The room was very nice and breakfast was good. The lady who served the breakfast was very helpful and hardworking. We really appreciated what she did. The very big drawback about this hotel is the terrible problem of the noise from the bar next door. I have never stayed in a hotel in which even with earplugs it was hard to sleep due to the relentless pounding of the bass from the bar's music system till very late into the night. Potential guests need to be warned about this.

Only some items were available from the menu every day. The music is loud- tv first page after you booked says there are some sound proof options- the music and karaoke sessions go on to at least 2 am- it’s fine if you come back after that or you can sleep with the music otherwise expect a less sleep night

Very, very noisy at night from bars below. Very very loud music till 2-30/3 am. Loud enough to make the windows shake!

Hotel location 10/10 Breakfast and cleanliness 10/10 Noise from the club underneath -100/10 The location of the hotel is on strait street which is this gorgeous part of Valletta but at the same time also the noisiest street with loud music playing until 2 am. We stayed on the first floor with balcony facing the street and the whole floor would vibrate from 7pm to 2 am nonstop. No amount of windows and doors help it. Everything else in the room was perfect but with no sleep on vacation it’s hard to enjoy yourself.

The property was fine and close to the centre of Valletta. However, I would not recommend it for anyone but the young who enjoy noisy bars and loud music from 7pm to 2am. The vibrations shook the walls of my room and my expected relaxing holiday was anything but. I am home now, trying to catch up on the missed sleep.
