A very lovely place to stay! The staff were always friendly and ready to help at a moments notice. One thing I will say, the closest station is a 16 minute walk, but as someone who enjoys being on their feet it didn't make a difference in my opinion at all. Would recommend heavily if you'd like to feel at home in Kyoto!

Spacious and good staff. Close to Nijo Castle. Need Uber to go out, its located amongst residential houses 10-15mins drive from main attractions. Very clean, very pretty, traditional accommodation with inner court yard.

The room was a bit dusty & only separated from the reception by a sliding door. We didn’t feel like there was a lot of privacy & could hear the receptionist (talking/ sweeping etc.) very clearly. There was ”casual” cleaning during the stay, and the one day we didn’t get asked and answer that we wished for them to clean, they didn’t which was annoying.
