호스텔은 이쁘고 시설도 잘관리되고 있습니다. 다만 슬리퍼를 챙겨간다면 더 좋을거에요. 리셉션 지나서부터는 신발을 벗어야하거든요

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind gut aufgeteilt.

Das Fox Hostel ist ein sehr neues und sauberes Hostel. Es gibt genug WCs und Duschen, auch eine große Küche ist vorhanden. Die Betten sind durch Holzwände und Vorhang abgetrennt, man hat also genug Privatsphäre. Die Mitarbeitenden sind stets freundlich. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

I absolutely loved my stay at Fox Hostel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was clean and well cared for, and the beds were super comfortable - exactly what you need after a full day of exploring. The kitchen was amazing and fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and connect with other travelers. I also met some truly wonderful people during my stay, which made the experience even more special. One of the most magical parts of my time here was the Northern Lights. Just a short walk behind the hostel in the evening, I had the most incredible aurora experience - it truly felt surreal. If the skies are clear and the conditions align, this is such a beautiful and accessible spot to witness them. I would highly recommend Fox Hostel to anyone traveling in the Vík area. It’s more than just a place to stay...it’s an experience. I would absolutely come back!! ✨

Hostel com ótimo padrão. Organizado, limpo e confortável.

Het Hostel biedt plaats aan maximaal 180 gasten. Het is allemaal nog nieuw en douches en WC's zijn top. Keuken is groot en biedt voldoende zitplaatsen, koelkasten en ovens. Het hostel ligt wel afgelegen, maar prima uitvalsbasis voor aantal toeristische trekpleisters. Bedden zijn prima. Het was voor mij de eerste keer in een hostel, het is me uitstekend bevallen.

The rooms were clean and cozy. Very comfortable beds, and the way the bunks are designed it feels like you’re in your own private pod! Unfortunately, I did not catch the name of the owner, but he gave our group a warm welcome, telling stories of the property’s history and giving recommendations of things to do in the area. The kitchen was large with multiple cooking stations and plenty of seating (also very clean and up to date with all the necessary appliances, pots, pans, dishes etc.). Bathrooms were clean and modern. The whole property was gorgeous, very new building, peaceful, it was a truly restful atmosphere. The view from our window was beautiful and we saw northern lights from the property. About 30-40 min it es outside Vik it was a good midpoint spot for seeing more of the southwest and not go too far from Reykjavík. Would absolutely stay there again next time we’re in Iceland. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in!

Charming, fun and safe

Very nice staff, the facilities are excellent, the kitchen is very complete. The bed is also very comfortable. Everything in there is made to make you feel comfortable. 10/10

Le logement était parfait, rien à dire, le dortoir était très propre et très confortable, la cuisine très grande avec tous les équipements nécessaires et en grande quantité !

Hotel novo no meio do parque. Ambiente com pouca luz externa pra ver aurora, mas quando estive lá tudo estava nublado e não foi possível...

The staff were friendly, and the bed was comfortable and cozy. There were plenty of restrooms and showers, so it was very convenient to use. Everything was well maintained, clean, and both the hot and cold water pressure in the showers were excellent. The kitchen on the second floor was also well equipped with enough appliances and utensils, so even when there were many people, it didn’t feel inconvenient. However, since many guests were grilling meat, the ventilation felt a bit weak at times. The storage lockers seemed a bit limited, but it wasn’t a big issue since we kept larger items in our car. The location was perfect, the surroundings were beautiful, and I would love to stay here again.

Adoramos nossa estadia no Fox Hostel! Local de fácil acesso, limpo, acolhedor, piso com aquecimento no chão, colchões confortáveis e roupas de cama e banho limpas e novas , a cozinha ampla e bem equipada e a recepção da Inger foi excepcional nos dando dicas de onde ver a Autora Boreal e outros passeios nos deixando super a vontades na hospedagem !!! Enfim só agradecer e indicar o lugar para suas férias serem perfeitas !!! Obrigada pelo carinho a toda a família !!!

Awesome spot for solo travelers!

Utrolig fint natur. Pent, rent og nytt hostell med veldig trivelig og hjelpsomt personal. God plass i fellesarealene, men savner bedre oppholdsområder utenom kjøkkenet. Fine rom, men det ble veldig varmt i løpet av natten.

Good place to stay, we'll maintained. Good kitchen area, clean bathrooms, comfortable beds. Away from the highway 1, quiet some drive thru gravel roads - nice view.
