Great place to stay! Very clean, nice location. Charlie was very kind and helpful.

Stayed for 2 nights, room was very big and clean and a nice view of the Westbury White Horse. Unfortunately there was no food served on the Monday/Tuesday night I stayed but the breakfast was exceptional, had the full breakfast and the avacado with poached eggs. All the ingredients are local and you can tell. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a lovely courtyard room , it was amazing. Super comfy bed and amazing shower room staff were very attentive and we will book again soon. Breakfast was superb thankyou for a lovely weekend.

Excellent hotel! Seems to be a 2-generation family-run establishment. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming! They definitely made me feel highly welcomed! The hotel was very cozy and the room was of good size and had a charming feel. Comfortable bed and nice, clean bathroom. Excellent lighting options in the room. The neighborhood seemed very safe. The view from the hotel was scenic. The breakfast was amazing with excellent choices - loved their breakfast! I also had dinner/drinks at the hotel one of the nights and they were awesome. They obviously have good chefs and a great collection of drinks. From the Bath train station (and city center), you can take bus U2; the bus stop is a 30-second walk from the hotel. For visiting University of Bath, you can take bus U4 (a 5-minute walk to that bus stop). If I revisit Bath, I'll stay at this hotel again.

The room was very good and a perfect size for the 2 of us and our West Highland Terrier. We particularly liked the architecture and general look of the interior and exterior. Breakfast was excellent and the staff engaging. We also had cause to contact the owner, who was extremely helpful. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Bath.

We loved our stay here. Stylish, spacious and comfortable room with a modern bathroom. The pub and rooms had been recently refurbished with great care. We stayed in room 8 which backed out onto the courtyard behind the pub and had velux windows which you could watch the stars through. Despite being part of a pub, we found our room to be very quiet after 9pm. Breakfast was fantastic, the veggie option was delicious and the ingredients felt very high quality. Top notch poached eggs too! We ended up having dinner at the pub twice and it was great. Good beer and wine selection too. Shout out to Laura and Will for being wonderful and attentive. We parked at the pub and used it as our base to get the short bus into Bath - you could also easily get a bus from Bath to stay here if coming by train. We both said we’d come back in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic stay at the King William. The staff were all so nice and the rooms were charming. The pub downstairs has a great selection of drinks and delicious food. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Not really a complaint but no tea and coffee, or tv in the room. The hotel was lovely the breakfast great quality and the staff very attentive. Highly recommended for a relaxed stay

Was great to stay in a pub, which had clearly been newly refurbished. Lovely staff who were incredibly helpful and really nice room. Good area for pub country pub to pub walks. Yummy breakfast with local produce

I had a very comfortable stay, very quiet with an early breakfast catered for. When you become more established putting numbers on bedroom doors would be a good idea.

I had a really excellent stay here and one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and clearly part of a recent refurbishment. Everything felt fresh, well decorated, and well looked after. What stood out even more than the room was the customer service. Laura was exceptional. She genuinely couldn’t do enough to help and made the welcome feel personal rather than the usual transactional check-in you get at most hotels. The bar was also great with a large draught selection that caters for everyone. Breakfast was another highlight. The cooked breakfast was generous and beautifully prepared, with plenty of continental options as well. You definitely won’t be leaving hungry. A really enjoyable stay and somewhere I would happily return to.

A wonderful welcome from the moment we entered until the minute we left. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly, and exceptionally helpful. We were given advice on how to get into Bath with all the road closures for the half marathon, the bus timetables were looked up for us and we were even walked out of the hotel to point us to the bus stop. You certainly don’t get this service in any of the chain hotels I have stayed at in Bath previously. In addition to the excellent customer service, the rooms were clean, with an extremely comfortable bed and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Will definitely be returning when I visit next.
