If you're looking for a fun day out that covers all bases, relaxation, thrills, and family bonding, Pedas Hot Spring in Negeri Sembilan deserves a spot on your list. Located in the quiet town of Pedas, Rembau, this attraction has been drawing locals since its natural geothermal springs were first discovered back in the 1920s.

Today, it operates under Wet World Pedas Waterpark & Hotsprings, blending the charm of natural mineral pools with a full-fledged water park experience.

Whether you're planning a weekend escape from Kuala Lumpur, a family day out, or just a quiet soak after a long week, here's everything you need to know before heading to Pedas Hot Spring.

Why Visit Pedas Hot Spring?

What makes Pedas Hot Spring stand out from other hot spring destinations in Malaysia is its dual offering. You get the therapeutic benefits of natural mineral-rich water, believed to ease sore muscles, reduce stress, and soothe joint pain. You can get those alongside a proper water park with slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river. It's a rare combo that makes it genuinely suitable for all ages.

The hot spring pools here naturally reach temperatures of up to 40°C, and unlike many local hot spring spots, the facility operates 24 hours a day. That means you can visit anytime, whether that's a breezy morning dip or a late-night soak under the stars.

Best Things to Do at Pedas Hot Spring

Here are the top activities worth your time during your visit.

1. Soak in the Natural Mineral Hot Spring Pools

The hot spring is the heart of the whole experience. The mineral-rich water, naturally heated to around 40°C, is said to help relieve muscle fatigue, ease arthritis, and improve circulation. Whether you believe in the therapeutic benefits or just want to unwind, spending time in these pools is reason enough to make the trip.

2. Try the Steam Room and Sauna

For a more immersive wellness session, the on-site steam and sauna facilities offer an extra layer of detox and relaxation. These are accessible through the spa and wellness area, and guests who book a two-hour spa session also get access to the public hot spring pool.

3. Book a Private Hot Spring Pool

For those who prefer more privacy, private hot spring pools are available starting from RM180 to RM380. This is a great option for couples, small groups, or anyone who wants the hot spring experience without sharing the pool with other guests.

4. Enjoy the Water Park Rides and Slides

Beyond the hot spring, Wet World Pedas has a full water park lineup including giant water slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river. This makes it easy to switch between chilling in warm mineral pools and cooling off on a thrilling ride, a "fire and ice" kind of day that the whole family will appreciate.

5. Let the Kids Loose at the Adventure Park

A newer addition to the complex, the outdoor adventure park features over 16 play elements designed for active family fun. With dedicated children's pools that have safety precautions in place, parents can relax while the little ones splash around safely.

6. Dine On-Site at the Café and Bistro

After a full day of activities, refuel at the on-site café or bistro. The menu covers local favourites like nasi lemak alongside snacks such as corndogs, waffles, and burgers. Note that outside food is not permitted inside the park.

7. Visit Nearby Negeri Sembilan Attractions

Since Pedas Hot Spring is located about 15km from Seremban town, you can conveniently pair your visit with other Negeri Sembilan highlights like Istana Seri Menanti, Port Dickson beaches, or Rembau's cultural heritage sites for a more complete day trip.

Travel Tips for Visiting Pedas Hot Spring

1. Pack Your Own Swimwear and Towel

Proper swimwear is required for all water activities, no jeans or heavy cotton clothing allowed. If you forget anything, the on-site souvenir shop stocks swimwear and towels, but it's always cheaper and easier to bring your own.

2. Go Early for the Best Hot Spring Photos

If you want great shots of the steaming pools, arriving around 10:00 AM tends to produce the best atmospheric photos when the steam from the hot springs is most visible. It also means beating the weekend crowd before it builds up.

3. Limit Time in the Hot Spring Pools

Soaking in high-temperature water is relaxing but can be draining. Limit yourself to around 15–20 minutes per session, take breaks in between, and make sure you're well-hydrated before and after. The Malaysian heat adds to the effect, so don't underestimate it.

4. Prepare Cash for Small Purchases

While tickets can be purchased online, some kiosks and rental services on-site may prefer cash payments. Having some ringgit on hand avoids any inconvenience during your visit.
