Look I get that we’re in the bush, and it’s Sydney in summer (autumn) but we walked in and there was a cockroach on the bed. Laying in bed you could see them climbing the walls. We went to Woolworths and brought spray but honestly, there were too many for this to be normal. Going to the bathroom in the middle of the night had them scrambling in their dozens along the tiles. When packing up I also shook 7 out of my suitcase. Also, only 3 pillows for a queen bed? Why not 4 - 2 for each person?! The staff seemed nice and I’m sure would have got us a pillow if we’d asked before they finished for the night.

Really nice place the eatery adjacent was stunning felt like in thailand setting very beauifully done. Staff were lovely too, rooms big clean & comfy

Property is quite old and outdated but the room was super clean and the staff were really friendly. Stayed for an event next door so location was perfect. I look forward to seeing the results of the eventual rehab by the new owners. Go in with basic expectations and you’ll be fine!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here due to the proximity of our destination. Generally I was happy with the room, with clean bedding and towels etc. I was especially pleased that the pool and area had been cleaned up and I was able to have a swim. However the property needs some TLC which I am told is planned. Some small things would have made the stay better such as a box of tissues. A microwave was supplied but no bowls, plates or spoons for breakfast or cups of tea. Wooden knives and forks don't "cut it"! More hooks etc for towels and clothes in bathroom would have been handy. I look forward to another visit with some of these amenities supplied.

Room was not very clean mold in the shower room .Room only serviced once a week but is advertised as fully serviced

Large rooms but dated

Only thing need to work/ upgarde on shower/tub. Plus milk was left in freezer not in fridge, hence was of no use when needed.

Good hotel for the location and price.

Fantastic room, clean, lots of room, nice bathroom, large shower, great offering of snacks and tea, the grounds were nice too.

I liked the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Tired and run down, curtains were broken and the floor was disgusting. It is not advertised enough that the restaurant and bar is not actually apart of checkers and you have to walk over to a separate hotel to get to it.

Needs an update. Old and tired. Splatter marks ?Vomit on the torn curtains, food scraps in drawer next to bed.

Only concern was the cleanses of the room , was average, every thing else was good

Staff - What staff? The room was in good condition and shower was fabulous. As for amenities the pool area had mostly been maintained but the surrounding vegetation and nook fountain needed TLC. Only spending one night on a Friday night it was disappointing not to have Dinner on site and an option to have breakfast to your room. As for coming back after a business dinner It would have been nice to have had a drink at the bar before retiring. This so called resort that has so much potential is sadly lacking in customer experience. I would not be in a rush to recommend your accommodation unless purely for an over night stay before moving on. Advertising a conference center how long since this has happened? You have a potential for end of year work parties with a difference. With restaurant set up and bar. And accommodation to boot.
