Late night Prank call was not appreciated, on room phone

Impossible to find the entrance after dark due to road works. Probably just as hard in daylight. No turnoffs marked. No warning or indication from the property that there was a problem. Will not be back until it is sorted maybe

Great hotel big room large pool.

Das Zimmer war sauber. Der Service war gut. Die Balkonmöbel waren sehr billig und wackelig. Es war keine Küchenenrichtung vorhanden. Das war aber vorher klar. Es ist ein Business Hotel mit Konferenzraum. Frühstücksbuffet und Restaurant. Man ist fast gezwungen dort hinzugehen. Es hat einen schönen Pool. Das Bad war sauber und ordentlich. Es sollte aber bald renoviert werden. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Ein Zugang zum Meer ist möglich. Für einen Kurzurlaub ist das Hotel ok.

An older resort, but pleasant. The pool complex is great. Direct beach access is lovely. The restaurant is fair. The reception and restaurant staff are friendly.

I believe Opal star rating is undervalued. It is a lovely resort and the staff are outstanding.

The value you get here is fantastic. Lovely large rooms and bathrooms, the staff so friendlly, great food. Kids games room and large pool with a short walking distance to the beach.

Awsome

Good location and ease of use, with lots of parking and easy to get around. The pool is great for the kids too. Only gripe is the property is more than showing its wear, nowhere more so than the A/C and bathroom. Grates need a clean, bathrooms need a complete renovation and the showers overflow if turned completely on due to the drain being too small. For a weekend and as a sports team however, it suits perfectly.

Love the resort, clean and everything you need is there

Reasonable comfort; limited dinning menu though fod was of good quality. Roadworks nearby created some access inconvience.

Relaxing and helpful staff.

The room being a 1 bdrm Apartment was nice and spacious, had a full size fridge/freezer, microwave plus cooktop and oven. Ducted air throughout and a good size flatscreen in the lounge and the bedroom. Could cast to the tv from your mobile which was a little difficult. Better when the places have smart tvs with built in Apps. Really easy to get around tprecinct of the Star Entertainment Complex and you have access to all the pools throughout which is amazing. Across the road from Broadbeach dining precinct and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre (one of Australia’s biggest shopping centres,for the Mums). If you go out of peak, you can score incredible value, at peak it is an investment.

It was a great stop on the way to QLD.

Reception staff along with restaurant staff need to smile more and give better service, not “what do you want” attitude. Very poor on their behave. The room was freezing cold as the control on the wall didn’t make any difference when we tried to adjust it. All our food was frozen in the fridge so that doesn’t work properly either. All in all not a good look, but still I don’t think you should expect much more from a three star property.

Awsome place to stay

Rooms were clean. Check in was sketchy as they had wrongly checked me into my room at time of booking so staff were concerned that someone was already in my room. I arrived late at night after a long drive do a family emergency and the info that my room was likely already occupied or somehow double booked with no mother vacancies was the last thing I needed at 10pm after a long drive. Was an error, no one was in my too. Bathrooms are staying to show their age but were clean.
