Staff was friendly. Beautiful location. The only issue was getting to the restaurant without going outside the hotelwas difficult due to poor signage and doors that were locked instead of unlocked

Our room was great. The location was really good--only 10 minutes from downtown Magog. There are no common areas, but the room was well appointed, clean and the staff was freindly.

Great staff, clean room. Some noise from the restaurant/bar downstairs but quiet every night after 9:30pm Great Lake view which would be amazing in the summer. The hotel has a cozy country inn feel. I recommend

Our stay itself was nice and the staff was kind, but we had a serious issue with accessibility and safety that we feel should be mentioned. The property is located at the top of a very steep street, and during our stay it was completely iced over. We tried to drive up but only made it about two-thirds of the way before the car started sliding backwards. It was pretty scary. My partner went inside to ask for help and the staff responded quickly, which we appreciated, but we had to leave our car parked on the side of the street overnight. As an apology, we were given a bottle of wine, which was thoughtful. We were also told that the hill would be salted the next morning so there wouldn’t be any further issues. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. When we left after 9 a.m., the street was still icy and we both slipped while walking down the hill. We debated whether to leave a review, but ultimately felt it was important to share this. While we were okay, it’s concerning to think that an older guest or someone with mobility issues could easily get hurt in these conditions. We hope the property takes this seriously and improves winter safety going forward.

Chambre correct pas plus. Le bruit du restaurant est problématique si vous n’avez pas de bouchons pour les oreilles. Le personnel est à la réception était très gentil cependant.

There was , honestly, very little that I enjoyed about this hotel. The room was beyond tiny and very uncomfortable with no place to put even one piece of luggage, and the shower was almost impossible to get into if you were over 6" or 180lbs. The hotel, technically, had a view of the lake, but it was up on a hill and across a road and train tracks so, it wasn't exactly "on the lake." My biggest grievance was that I had arranged to have my travel documents mailed to the hotel for when we arrived and I called to make sure that this was possible, and again to let them know that they were in the mail and gave the approximate delivery date. When we arrived, we were told that they didn't receive anything and that it must have been delivered to their PO Box, which only one person had access to, and that person was out of town for the duration of our stay. There was little care and no accountability on the part of the hotel for the upheaval and stress that this oversight caused us (and we never did get access to our documents). Even if everything else was perfect, which it was far from, I would never stay here again due to the complete disregard and poor service on the part of the management.

The room was wonderful, small but efficient. I appreciated the bottle of water and cooler at the end of the hall to fill up before bed. The restaurant was absolutely Delicious!

Everything was great! Clean, coffee for the morning. The only thing was we came in around 7:00pm and no one was at the desk. We waited and then I grabbed a waitress in restaurant that was there.
