I booked for two people and when I arrived at midnight, the front office told me that they only have one capsule for one person and if I want extra room I have to pay extra 90$. They also said that they will reimburse me for the night I didn't stay in and for the mistake but then they refused the reimbursement through expedia. Scammers

The location was great, safe, easy access to most things you'd want to get to including the train, and the bus from the airport stops a block away. The staff were friendly and tried to help with any issues I had. The facilities are nice, with amenities like a quiet room in the chill area and lockable food storage nooks. Some quirks - the doors to the small shower rooms open inwards making closing them potentially a challenge for you, (the shower itself is great). My locker was finicky any time I wanted to open or shut it, and the washers were busted while I was there, so I get the sense maintenance is a work in progress. Cleanliness varied a lot, as you'd expect in a hostel. The magnetic doors to the capsule do not lock, and the magnet to mine didn't keep the door closed, so I had to wedge my bag against it. You can sleep with your stuff, but put it in the lockers when you go out. The capsule lets most sound in, but everyone on my floor was respectful. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is busy in the morning, I'd suggest the third floor if you want quiet. The beds were a pretty bad issue for me: the mattress is really just a 5 inch thick matt on the wood, and you will feel that. The light from the ac control panel is bright, you'll want to find a way to cover it up, and the ac itself helps but is weak. In summary, if you can sleep on anything, (or like extra firm beds) I'd really go for it for unbeatable price and great location. If not, maybe spring for an actual bed.

Appreciated the friendly bilingual staff, ease of access to downtown and museum district, plentiful restaurants nearby, and good value for an inexpensive stay. Less keen on that the capsules overheated quickly (sweated all night, which combined with no beverages allowed —> dehydrated in the mornings), and only 3 bathrooms + 3 showers for 50+ capsules on first floor.

Staff was very nice and helpful-especially with being bilingual! Pods themselves and storage area was kept well. If you are a light sleeper you can hear everything little thing, from your pod neighbor opening their doors, to lockers opening, main door opening and shutting, as well as noise from other above and below you. Bathrooms were tried to be maintained but multiple toilets clogged and tended to be dirty on toilets and water always on floor. There was a deep clean of bathrooms over night but unsure of the cleaning process during the day when dirty. Safe location- I had no problems as a female solo traveler.

It is actually good , amazing for the price but when we stay we have some issues with the booking .

Central, clean and fun

Price can vary a lot. I hit Montreal on the last day of Formula 1 so it was very expensive. However with the price you pay for, the cleanliness could be improved. There was dust and bits along the edge of the mattress. Mattress was fairly thin. Staffs were helpful and you can tell the cleaning staffs were really trying to keep up the cleanliness of the sharing space. It was just too many people. Showers were too small. Some of things like bathroom door were broken over the time I stayed there (5 days) was never fixed. Lockers could be bigger. The key problem here is the capsule door. Although it looks like you need a key card to open it, actually all you need is a push, it would just open without the card. This leads to low security.

Overall very good. Will definitely stay again. Only complaint I would have is bathrooms on my floor were dirty during my entire stay. And you can tell they were dirty for a while. Nonetheless, I will still recommend this to anyone.

It every bad experience

Expedia ne respecte le client parce-que j'ai fait une réservation pour un lit de deux personnes mais quand j'arrive dans la résidence capsule mais il m'a dit il n'y a pas de lit pour deux personnes.

Les photos, la description et surtout la note de cet établissement sont extrêmement trompeuses. Je voyage beaucoup et je ne laisse que très rarement des avis négatifs, mais cette expérience a été sincèrement l’une des plus dégoûtantes que j’aie vécues. Dès mon arrivée, j’ai constaté que le niveau de propreté était catastrophique. Les toilettes étaient dans un état répugnant, avec des cheveux et des poils partout sur le sol. Les planchers étaient sales, les espaces communs mal entretenus et l’ensemble du lieu donnait une impression générale de négligence. On est très loin du niveau de propreté minimal auquel on peut s’attendre lorsqu’on paie pour un hébergement. La capsule dans laquelle j’ai dormi n’était pas mieux. Il y avait de la saleté autour du lit et, à ma grande stupéfaction, j’y ai découvert un préservatif usagé. C’est absolument inadmissible. Trouver ce genre de déchet dans un espace censé avoir été nettoyé entre deux clients est non seulement dégoûtant, mais soulève aussi de sérieuses inquiétudes quant aux standards d’hygiène de l’établissement. À cela s’ajoute une isolation pratiquement inexistante. On entend absolument tout : les conversations, les déplacements, les portes, les allées et venues des autres occupants. Il est presque impossible de se reposer correctement. Ce qui me choque le plus, c’est l’écart énorme entre les avis, la note affichée et la réalité. Je ne comprends honnêtement pas comment cet établissement peut obtenir une telle évaluation.

The place is good enough, well located and cool concept. All capsules are kind of in the same space, where in the rules says "belongings can not be left out your pod", but everyone did and that made the room smelly and not very good looking. The pod was clean and like the experience. For the right price I'd stay again.

I stayed here for one night mainly for the experience, and overall I enjoyed it. My capsule was very clean, and the goose down comforter was surprisingly comfortable. The pod has its own ventilation system, and you can control the air conditioning yourself, which made the stay very comfortable. The facilities are modern, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. My only inconvenience was the parking situation. Public parking is not very affordable, costing around $33 or more for 10–12 hours, and there are not many nearby alternatives. Be very careful with street parking, as parking enforcement is active and they will make sure to ticket vehicles that are not parked according to the regulations. Other than that, it was a unique and enjoyable experience.

Pros: Great location in downtown. Storage lockers that can fit a suitcase. Capsule has plugs for charging and ample lighting. There also is a small vent but I was incredibly hot with the minimal airflow. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Easy check in. Helped with finding directions and where to go. Cons: This is a new capsule hostel and for only being about 2 months old it is in terrible shape. Showers provided no room to dress or change except 2 bigger sized on the main floor. You get one tiny towel that is thin and about half the size of a regular towel. Capsule mattress is very hard. No change rooms. You have to change in your capsule or dress out in the open? Bathrooms are very small and dirty. Cleaning was poor and infrequent. I waited to use the bigger washroom that has a small shower and sink and the floor was poorly mopped, the sink was still dirty. Grime on walls and floors was a lot for a place this new. The kitchen on second floor had a clogged sink and people complained to me that it could not be fixed. Nowhere to wash their dishes. In the morning the lights to all the showers on the second floor didn’t work. I gather a breaker or some issue? But the staff didn’t seem to have a solution. people were showering with someone holding the door open to get some light. Second level capsules are challenging to climb in and out. Not suitable for all This place was slapped together cheaply and everything is already falling apart or broken. Cleaning is poor.

I was really looking forward to stay in this capsule hotel. The concept is great, the location was perfect, the look of the place is modern and inviting. Prices are reasonable and offers good value. However I was disappointed by the fact that there was no air conditioning inside the capsule. There was an air vent. You could control the quantity of air but not the temperature. So it was uncomfortably hot for me at least. I was also surprised that you could not lock the capsule from the inside. Common areas were nice and the staff was pleasant and helpful. More emphasis should be put on constant cleaning of washrooms, showers and common erea as this is a high volume operation. I would stay there again if the AC situation in the capsule is a possibility or at least a fan is added.

Gets a wee bit stuffy in the capsules but the A/C does help. Check-in could have been a little smoother but not a big deal. For the price I can’t imagine a nicer hostel!

I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt I had to after my experience here, both to share my concerns and to warn future guests looking for accommodation. The entire residence was filthy. I understand that staff have limited control over how guests treat communal spaces, but it was obvious that the areas had not been properly cleaned in days. The cleaning staff had just finished before I checked in, yet there was still hair, dirt, and dust on the bathroom floor and shower walls. The shower drain was clogged with hair buildup. One of the bathrooms was out of order, but the toilet was still being used. The kitchen was also extremely dirty, and the sink water was not working, meaning dishes had not been washed. The bathroom sink was covered with food waste and hair. The sleep pods also did not feel secure. The front desk explained that this was due to new fire safety regulations, but as a solo female traveller, I did not feel safe sleeping in a mixed dorm under those conditions. This was also not what had been advertised when I made the booking. I have stayed in hostels with communal living spaces before and understand that staff cannot fully control guest behaviour or cleanliness. However, I have always had positive experiences at other hostels in the past. Unfortunately, I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to others.
