Lake Emerald is so beautiful that we will visit again. Guest may note cars must be parked at their remote parking lot and get the shuttle to the front desk

Great place to revel in nature.

Very clean room, beautiful lake view from our balcony and restaurant dinning was excellent. We used firewood already provided inside the fireplace and we just lighted it and it was perfect. We used fireplace for two nights straight. The maids set up the wood for us in the fireplace every day. Wow !!! Thank you, maids, for a truly excellent job. Definitely we will return. Highly recommended. The staff were so great and very knowledgeable. The servers were so friendly. We were so pleased. Thank you for great many memories.

Very modern rooms, amazing location and reasonable price for the surroundings. A must stay!

Lodge is located in a beautiful location on Emerald Lake. Staff is very good and on site restaurant was highly quality. Now for the downside: it’s remote and guests must take shuttle from parking to lodge. The “cabin” was clean but in a 4-unit shared older building with very thin walls between rooms. There are no services (TV, wi-fi, or cell) except in main lodge. The only food service is from the lodge as nearest town (Fields) is 6 miles and has no restaurants. So, if you are looking to stay in an isolated location to completely disconnect, and don’t mind a “camp-like” setting, this is for you. The lake views are exceptional.

The property was in the midst of beautiful scenery. The main restaurant was much better than expected. The value was quite remarkable.

Somewhat dated rooms but always a good tome at this resort

Loved the location and the room. It was very cozy with the wood burning fireplace. The property is right on the lake and the scenery is stunning. The shuttle to and from the parking was a bit annoying, but I understand why it’s necessary. Depending where your room is, you will hear the van roaring by at all hours. They should consider electric vans.

Very nice to have working fireplaces! Vacuuming under the beds should absolutely be in the spring priority as big cleaning should take place as well as the windows and the balconies with a pressure washers! The staff was very nice. Pearson at the bar gave us great service.

Evrything is fine

For the price, the rooms are in need of a freshen up. The frame of the window in our room was cracked. The previous guests’ fire still lingered heavily in the air. It wasn’t feel aired out. The view can’t be beat. The lack of technology was welcome.

The views are amazing and love the fireplace in the room.

Food is delicious. Lake amazing. Cabins cozy but a bit dated.

Emerald Lake is a fabulous getaway. Rooms are clean. Fireplace was a lovely touch. Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant meals are delicious. Definitely will be back again sometime.

We stayed here for one night on May 8th. The property is amazingly located, the rooms are nice and clean, and the amenities are good. It was quite disappointing that we paid extra for a lake view room, and most of the view was blocked by trees. I read this on other reviews, and thought it might just be a couple that were blocked. However actually going there it seems almost all rooms are blocked by trees except one cabin. It seems like quite false advertising and they should instead say partial lake view. All the staff at the hotel were working their first week there, and while I understand everyone needs to start somewhere, it seems like our service experience was mediocre, yet we paid premium prices. No logs were placed in fireplace for an easy start (standard with AirBnbs/cabins), the log basket only had one in there so we had to refill it immediately, the conditioner was old and separated into a liquid and no proper conditioner came out, lots of work going on the main front building so it was quite noisy, lamb wasn't cooked properly, only soap and conditioner in the hot tub change room, no shampoo, there was no campfire going, patio chairs cheap. While these are all seemingly minor, if you're paying that much for a room, you expect to be getting the quality to match that, which just isn't the case. I'd save your money and stay elsewhere as you get a better view of the lake from the visitor areas and public trail and will probably get better service elsewhere.

Old charm hotel in the middle of one of the worlds most beautiful lakes. Pinch yourself views from your deck especially after the tourists have left for the day. Seriously off grid, no mobile, no WiFi (in the rooms) . Rooms are a bit dated, but goes with the whole character. Restaurant delicious, with serious Albertan options.. Buffalo, Elk, Salomon etc. Not easy for the less mobile, lots of steps to the older cabins but there are newer ones which I didn't visit. Nice little hot tub/jacuzzi and sauna to view the lake from. A lifetime experience

The food was great. Everything we had was delicious. Our room needs TLC. Heaters wouldn't shut off, the first night was so hot we couldn't sleep. The bath tub faucet leaked badly when running the shower and there was an old shampoo bottle mount left mounted the Bthe shower wall. It was rusty and sharp. Beds were nice. Balcony was ok.

Great spot the property is amazing

Stunning location with great views directly over the lake. Very clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Could have done with a small bar fridge in room as we were travelling and needed to store a few cold items. Had dinner in Mt Burgess restaurant, excellent food and great service from wait staff.
