Stayed 3 nights at Griffintown Hotel. My third time staying here as location is convenient to downtown and Old Montreal (15 minute walk to either). Griffintown is a fairly new residential area that was once a industrial area of the city. Many wonderful shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Mohamed the hotel’s manager and his staff were very prompt in answering any questions I had during my stay. I recommend staying here for short or long stays.

Staff almost walked into our room shortly after we checked in. He had a key that opened our door and was about to come in if we hadn't said anything. Surely it was a mistake but he was the staff member that checked us in maybe 10 minutes prior so the room number should've sounded familiar. I've never had that happen before at any hotel. There was no chain or additional lock mechanism on the door so for our couple nights stay, we just felt like somebody would walk in at any moment. Room was otherwise clean and service was fine.

Le support de la douchette était cassé,donc tenu à la main ce qui est inconfortable.!
Ma chambre située au 9 étage devait être situé proche du système de chauffage climatisation général car lorsque que celui-ci fonctionnait cela devenait très bruyant !
