The room was clean enough but could have been better. Staff was friendly. Temperature control was good. Parking was a little tight.

Convenient location

The room was adequate but the property was tired looking. The staff was great.

Check in was friendly and helpful w/ suggestions for dinner (and a local city map). Hot water Tea station in the reception lobby, ample parking (were allowed to park in area "next door") our lengthy boat and trailer as the designated long vehichle parling in the street was full. Tim Hortons coffee/donut/breakfast burito right next door and open for an early drive away as we were just passing thru. Rooms clean, beds comfortable, AC/Heater worked well.

The bedding was clean. There were cobwebs starting to form in the ceiling and lots of built up dirt on baseboards, big dirt smear on fabric shower curtain. Room was close to front desk and I could easily hear conversations happening at front desk. Upon arrival, I had to wait around 15 minutes for someone to come to front desk, after ringing bell. The staff person came from outside, so not even in the building. Not super professional. I'll look for other accommodation options next time I start in Smithers.

Front Staff woke me up to tell me the internet wasn’t working. Then left at checkout time to be unavailable for over an hour that I know of. I had an appointment so I checked back twice within the hour before my appointment then left town. Left a note requesting an invoice. Got a call back 6 hours later to tell me it was impossible on their end and to find one online. They gave me a key saying “ we only have one if you lose it I can let you in but you won’t have your own”. It’s electronic keys why can’t they make another one? Very disappointing stay.

Stayed here one night. Front desk stayed up to accommodate a late checkin. Room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Didn't really use any amenities. Local restaurant options near by. Would stay again.

Older hotel. But well maintained! Was a good stay.

I didn't realize how old this property was. It is not up to standards as other sandmans. That I've been to windows. Don't close properly. And you can hear Everything outside. I went there for a conference. And I struggled to get some rest.

The manager, Geraldine made me feel at home when I was staying in Sandman Inn.

Noisy, beds were very uncomfortable.

The room wasn't really cleaned the floors weren't vacuumed there was peeling wall paper. Smelt old and run down.

Staff were very friendly and the kitty at the front was the best! Close to Hudson’s Bay Mountain too

It did the job. Overall the room seemed clean, but the paint was peeling in the shower roof and there are signs of overall lack of maintenance. Good enough for an overnight though.

The customer service has to be better than that
