A decent hotel for 3 stars

Easy to find, had an issue at check in where the whole computer system was down so couldn't get a key card. I explained I had an event I needed to get to, and because they worked out my original room was next to the function room where an event was going on until 2am, they upgraded me to a bigger room and had a staff member use their master key card to get me in. I collected my key card later. Sadly the event goers were.....not considerate! Taxi blaring out music at half midnight and revellers shouting about until someone must have told them to be courteous. Despite being next to the motorway, i slept really well after that. Clean and comfy sheets and pillows, large, open and light room in the daylight, had everything I needed. Breakfast had a good range, no cooked breakfast, but plenty to choose from with cereals, bread, pastries, fruit, yoghurts and hot drinks machine. Not much sugar for cuppas so ran out after just 4 people dining - I went to take my cup to my room to get some sugar and got politely told no - fair enough, asked for sugar, went back to the dining area to finish. Easy to check out, easy to park and have parking validated and great value for money, was convenient location for work and events i was attending. Would stay here again

Only went to use spa hot tub and sauna to be told don't have one and next night they was a party on when we got back at 6 pm it got that loud we packed up and went home at 8 pm very very unpleasant weekend

Room was grubby, stained carpet. TV not working. Fire alarm kept going off during the night. Car alarm in car park kept going off. Reception couldn't find my room booking and that I had paid for parking & breakfast. Towel rail on full heat all night. + Points ; large comfy bed & good shower.

Was ok for the price.

Safe and easy with on site parking and nearby restaurants

The parking was problematic as some had parked a petrol car in the charging bay, which they did move on request. The room was cold as someone had left the window open. The room and hallway smelt of smoking and generally was very old. The bedding was clean and fresh and the bud was comfy. There was no hot water in the morning until I went to reception and asked about it and was told just run the water. The towel rail was broken with electric cable hanging off. The television had no signal, so could watch anything before I went to sleep. There is constant noise from the road but I guess that was to be expected. Breakfast was fine but slightly basic continental. Overall it wasn’t a good experience and I would have preferred to spend more and stay somewhere better.

Very happy with our stay, we even stayed an extra night which the hosts very kindly gave us 10% off for! Would stay again thank you

I was informed that the spa isn’t operational until later in the year (which is not what was advertised). The room had no controller for the air conditioning unit and was not able to use it without. The bath was broken and the toilet seat was loose. The breakfast that was £9 each was poor as there was very little there. This experience was improved slightly by some if the staff - but in the whole I was extremely disappointed

Room was dated and worn, and smelt a bit musty. Dust everywhere including remote control. Shower didn’t work and handle on bath was broken. Told parking was free on website but it’s £3 a night. Only ideal if you need a quick kip before moving on. Won’t be staying again

Was given the key to an occupied room so walked in on a half naked lady. Tv aerial defect had to play around to so aerial stayed in tv. Shower amenties poor

The staff are amazing got lock out of my room and the staff was great to help and even offered a hot chocolate this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at will continue to use this place to stay

I had to pay again for parking even though I had pre paid.

Room was dirty x mould on tiles in corner Dirt on tiles by radiator in bathroom Bed was thrown together duvet was not flat in in cover and bedding arranged nicely on bed the room needed hoovering Our dog found items under the bed which could have been extremely dangerous to eat a top off a bottle which I had to get out of her mouth. But what was more worrying was the foil sachet of citaopram tablets I retrieved from under the other bed. Plus once I’d retrieved these also found a medical canular down the side of the bed where the bed was pushed against the wall we took photos of of said items We stayed 2 nights There was no housekeeping done do refills of coffee or tea etc etc Towels were only one large and one small per room when there is two guests I appreciate it’s a budget hotel but I still expect it to be clean and safe for my dogs. Just because we have dogs with us the rooms should still be of a high standard. The fact that you charge an extortionate amount per night per dog for nothing is day light robbery. My dogs sleep in there own crates and do not make the £80 extra cleaning charge for our visit at £20 per night per dog The fact that last night there was a very loud party going in was not ideal when people want to sleep Breakfast was adequate I’m afraid it was one of the worst places we have ever stayed

Very poor condition. Old and not maintained. Rooms are very old. Not sure if bedsheets were clean. As we got into the room, we found 3 beds, 1 double and 2 singles, we were only 2. The toilet seat was closed but when we opened it, there was pee in there! Staff not welcoming. Limited dining options.

Not great the hotel is very basic, towels are old and off white. Bathroom wasnt cleaned well, and pubic hair was seen in the shower cubical. Had to wash it before use.. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. It states a restaurant I arrived just after 19.00 and was told the restaurant was closed. Would not stay again

A good base for a value hotel. Some of the decor is quite old but the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a very strong internet connection and air conditioning.

There was no hot water. Shower was freezing. Considering it's a dog friendly hotel, my dog couldn't go anywhere but the room.
