Staff were so helpful and accomadating. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. I would also highly recommend eating in the restaurant. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing with a touch of luxury too .

Had a lovely 1 night stay at this hotel. Immaculate room with the most comfy bed. Lovely bar and restaurant downstairs. Great location, 10 minute walk into town. Would highly recommend.

Upgraded to an ‘accessible’ room. This would not be easily ‘accessible’ to a disabled person- the shower was in the bath (though there were adequate rails and handles in the bathroom) and there was nothing particularly helpful in the bedroom. This was bland and bare but for one picture, and All the mirrors were in the bathroom!
The room was clean enough, but the was mould evident around the bathroom windows.
The staff were lovely at reception and in the bar. The member at breakfast time needs more training. He was inattentive (didn’t offer coffee) and seemed keen to end the morning’s duties in the dining room.

The room (although dated) was spotless. There was plenty of room, the bath was gorgeous, and we loved the addition of cold milk in the fridge.
The radiator and aircon suddenly made strange noises in the night, waking us a few times.
