No door on the bathroom in the bedroom, which wouldn't be a problem if I couldn't see the toilet from the bed. If you'd like privacy when you go to the toilet, this might not be for you. But other than that, the venue is amazing and the staff were incredible

Very quirky hotel with some unique features

This quirky decadent hotel is my favourite place to stay in the UK with my partner. Relax, embrace and self-indulge. Can't go wrong. Can't wait to return very soon.

The rooms are amazing, the restaurant is 10/10. Staff are friendly and attentive. Can not wait to go back in the summer

Room was really quirky and decorated well. Some cob webs on lights, windows and headboard had a bit of musty smell. Room got very warm at night, air conditioning wasn't great. Staff were excellent though, really helpful and cheerful. Food at the restaurant was fantastic too.

This hotel has deteriorated over time. The decor in places a bit worn. I would not pay the full price for a room.

Great stay

The room was really dark and I didn't like the open plan layout with the toilet in the bedroom (no privacy). The room décor was tired and the jacuzzi didn't work. Only 5 hangers which the staff quickly remedied. Lovely long decking area but it hadn't been cleaned and had no decking furniture so you couldn't sit outside. The staff were absolutely super though and the food was amazing. We ate in the Thai restaurant one evening which was great. Also the Oak Restaurant and again the food was super - and we had a really great breakfast each day. The whole place is fantastically unique, quirky and beautiful when all lit up at night. The farm shop 2 mins walk up the road is a must - it was fabulous and again the staff were absolutely super, friendly and very helpful. Oh and the bed and pillows were fantastically comfortable so we slept really well - just what you need when away for a country break!

Lots of free parking available. Loved the check in on the red bus. Room was cozy and very quirky. Lovely meal, cocktails and staff.

Having never stayed before at the Crazy Bear I went in with high expectations, however I didn’t realise the room which was meant to be a decent level, was the size of a postage stamp, just enough room for a double bed, no spa even though it was advertised as that’s the other venue not Steadhampton. Overall less than impressed, especially for the money, probably the most expensive hotel you can stay in per square foot, which was about 12.

Very friendly staff and nice taster meal in restaurant

Helpful and attentive staff, amazing breakfast and easy parking. The Crazy Bear is certainly quirky but in a very endearing way.

The staff were great and made the stay much better. It was an unforgettable experience, and we will return again in the near future!

Way too expensive. Very dark the wife couldnt see properly to put on make up. No where to hang the towel or dressing giwn in the bathroom.

Was really good we were room only, very bougie for our wedding anniversary. Would of given it 5 stars but there was a delay in getting the security deposit back which was debitted and not held! Had to chase to get it credited back to our account.
