This is my second time to stay, overall is much better than before. There is Carpark available but need fee. As my room air conditioning control panel is broken and got too warm to stay for 2 nights, the staff is good to change another room for me very efficiently. Shopping and restaurants is nearby, easy to walk in a few minutes.

Unfortunately we weren't told there was an event on so when we went back in the evening and tried to sleep all we could hear was music and the bass. It eventually stopped around 12am. Perhaps earplugs should be provided? Bed was a bit hard but that's preference I guess. The room was too warm and air con didn't work.

Sink was blocked and had a slow drain. Informed staff, but no maintenance was available over weekend. They did offer to change room. Room had a moldy smell. A/C was not adequate in cooling room sufficiently, it was end of July 2026 in London, the temperatures were high. Car park onsite was excellent, although pricey. Staff were friendly. Gym was small and also had a moldy smell.

Reception on arrival very slow. In addition receptionist did not seem to know much about types of breakfast we could have .Grill bar quite chilly Generally an excellent hotel

Hello, I am sorry to be contacting you with complaints regarding my recent stay. I am a wheelchair user and as such, had booked an accessible room with yourselves through Expedia and stayed 3rd July - 6th July 2026. There were a handful of issues with the room, such as the cleanliness of the bath in the bathroom that bordered on wear and tear [room 407] and the bath board for accessibility didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. Similarly, the limescale build up on the shower head was significant enough to see without actively looking for it, but I chose not to say anything as it wasn't the end of the world. The red chords for the alarm system should also be to the floor so that, should you fall and end up on the floor, you are able to access the help you need. Instead, they stop at wheelchair sitting height. I understand the misguided notion here, but this puts people in serious danger. These things alone, I would have let slide. It was the two things that happened after this that meant I had to say something though: 1) The first being that after we had already checked in and stayed for one of our three booked nights, at around 21:40pm on 4th July, we get a call to our hotel room requesting that a member of staff can come to our room to have me fill in a form as it was forgotten by staff at check in. It was the fire evacuation safety form. I had been allowed to stay in the hotel overnight and a large portion of the day without this being considered and t

Please get the air conditioning working in rooms … lobby hall to elevator needs to change and bathrooms fixtures need updating . Staff was excellent and location is best , with these upgrades this hotel is on it way to become one of the best hotel in London…

Antagligen det sämsta hotellet jag har någonsin bott på...med tanke på kostnaden så motsvarar detta ett boende i centrala London i bättre skick. 1. AC fungerade inte, och fläkten gjorde ingen skillnad...det var minst 30 grader värmt, inte bara i rummen men i alla andra ytor på hotellet också. Receptionen påstod att det var ett tillfälligt fel med AC, men flera andra har klagat kring samma problem för flera veckor sen. (Fick ingen kompensation på plats). 2. Smutsiga (gula fläckar) på badkar och handfat 3. Plastgolvet håller på att lossna, kan lätt snubbla på kanterna överallt. 4. Bilderna är inte uppdaterade och faktiska skicket är mycket sämre än vad bilderna visar... 5. Frukosten såg rätt ledsen ut, men risk för att buffén var för värm pga omgivningen.

The air conditioner was broken in the hotel during a heatwave and they never fixed it the entire time (6 days) we stayed.

Toilet wasn’t in the best condition at all

Was a really nice place but the lifts absolutely stunk when telling the staff they said they knew the lifts stunk so why not spray some air freshener?

The hotel is advertised with aircon, I called to have that confirmed which it was. On arrival the aircon had been broken for over a week, the lady on the desk simply didn’t care obnoxious and ignorant. We had to buy fans for the room and it basically ruined our night

I booked this hotel specifically because it advertised air conditioning, as temperatures were around 35°C on the day of my stay. On arrival, I was told the air conditioning wasn’t working. Had I known this in advance, I would have booked elsewhere. I paid a premium and drove out of my way for this feature, so it was extremely disappointing that the room was not as advertised. I hope the hotel resolves this issue and treats affected guests fairly by offering appropriate refunds.

Paid a lot of money to stay here for 7 nights. 4 star, Marriot what could possibly go wrong? NO Air Con just a fan grate on the ceiling blowing warm air into the room. Plastic desk fan blowing warm air around the room. 1 lift only for the whole hotel. Bathroom with plaster and paint flaking of the ceiling, sink tap wobbling, bath stained and unclean, shower glass with dried stains from previous guests, only feather pillows and quilt, had to purchase non feather pillows myself. Requested to change room for another with working air conditioning from my room 129 to vacant room 104 no paint and plaster falling from bathroom ceiling but still no air conditioning. Stayed in room 129. Asked for refund for remaining days which reception manager Alex said he would instruct Expedia while I looked for accommodation elsewhere. Had to stay in this hell home as no availability near by and would have cost hundreds of pounds more. Called Expedia and spoke to a man who was as much use as a chocolate teapot. If you expect a 4 star hotel then avoid the Marriot Bexleyheath. It is a dump. The final straw asked for a fridge to put medication in on my last night, which had been put in my room, put my medication in the fridge insulin and Mounjaro pens x 5 of each. Packing my cases the morning after, take medication out of the fridge which was not working so all medication ruined! The reception staff must get really sick of saying sorry, as that is all they say. Useless.

No air conditioning and in 40oc heat made the stay uncomfortable.
