Great hotel on the seafront. Great location. Helpful friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Strong WiFi.. All the amenities you need.

It was pretty clean and in a great location in Brighton

I really enjoyed this hotel and the bar area and the staff were excellent. No air con but fine for me. They gave me a room with a step shower but the bathroom had no grab handles so difficult for me. Silly because for very little money it could have been much better. Good breakfast and very good value for money . Room 133

Stay here was great.. breakfast was disappointing though, limited options and only scrambled eggs. Tea from a thermos was yuck!

Welcome was great. Staff friendly and very helpful. Lovely large room with super wet room. Breakfast was delicious and had a super view of the sea whilst eating. Area was busy but quiet both in our room and the dining area. We will most definitely visit again.

Lighting in bar needs dimming, bright lights lack atmosphere

Suprisingly comfy bed, spacious and clean modern bathroom, definitely rate the single rooms for solo travellers, great value for money

Older property no air conditioning although not really needed in May if have ocean view with windows.

The only saving grace of this hotel is the location; it is literally steps away from the seaside. I was in Brighton for a conference and everywhere else was fully booked, so I didn't have much choice. Having read the reviews beforehand, I was already skeptical, and unfortunately, my experience confirmed my fears. I certainly won't be back. ​While the room was clean, it was freezing because the heating wasn't working. Since there are no phones in the rooms, I had to walk all the way to reception to complain. I was told they had "switched off" the heating and was offered a mini electric heater instead. For the price they charge per night, this is unacceptable. Furthermore, the room layout felt "off"—the floor had a noticeable dip/slope and wasn't level. I didn't try the breakfast, but I’m glad I didn’t; walking past the restaurant counter, the food did not look nice at all. Only stay here if you are desperate.

Double room sea view - 5th floor corner. Lovely space and clean room, although windows could do with a good clean both inside and out. I found mattress a bit hard, my partner loved it. Perhaps a mini fridge would be good. Gurgling sounds from toilet - at times - but not serious enough to keep you awake. Great location and view. Handy to amenities. Polite, attentive and excellent customer service - staff were amazing. A dimmer would be good for each beside lamp to make it a brighter for reading. Top floor gets hot during the day - it was mid spring and the temperature was around 15 degrees - I can imagine summertime would be extremely hot. There is no air con, but the hotel has fans. Apart from those insignificant niggles, my stay here was very comfortable. Would recommend

Overall rooms need attention, very shabby, decoration poor , carpets a no no ,en-suites need some attention to detail .

Lovely hotel, great staff, lovely see view, would defently stay again, only thing was the floor boards in are room was squeeky through the whole room and 2 floor boards underneath the toilet was moving the toilet. Room was hot but had a fan in the room.

Lovely hotel with a sea view.

I stayed for 1 night and the hotel was very good. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, the room was nice, clean and comfortable, with some basic amenities. Although, my room had a partial sea view, it was very small and almost non existent, so I shouldn't have been charged extra for this. Also, the corridors to the rooms are quite narrow, but manageable with a little extra time. Overall the hotel is very nice and pleasant with a good seafront location. I will try to stay here again with my family.

This hotel is lovely, the room with the sea view was perfect and the staff were so friendly. We’d definitely stay again.
