The toilet was absolutely disgusting with sh*t stains all over the cover. It’s like they have never heard of water pressure and temperature control. Move the tap one millimeter and you go from boiling to freezing. The towels were yellow with stains. On the off chance you find one seemingly safe enough to use, the fluff sheds like a German shepherd in the summer. For £200+ a night the room was small with no air conditioning. All they give you is a measly fan that sounds like it’s on life support. Sleeping through the night has proven to be very difficult with the heat and uncomfortable blanket. If you are someone that streams every night, I would not recommend this hotel since the WiFi is completely useless. The only thing that they do better than others is the view. Although if that is what you are looking for you are probably better off in the Premier Inn across the street. As a frequent traveler I’ve seen much more for much less. Do not recommend at all.

Excellent location. Very short walk to the beachfront. Parking easily booked ahead of arrival. Staff friendly. Outdoor pool clean and very well maintained area with toilets and changing area. Will definitely be back.

I was horrible

Dated hotel without AC without possibility to open windows properly. Linnens were dirty (saw another guest gettings their towels changed for the same reason). Breakfast ok but nothing more. Pool area pretty good. Free drinking water.

Loved the outdoor heated pool. About 30deg. Open 8-8. Good seats around pool area. Bed comfortable. Didn't have breakfast. Easy walk or cycle down to the beach and the town

Lovely stay last minute

Nice hotel with genuinely warm staff from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The kitchen was out of action one evening so dinner wasn’t possible, but the manager handled it really well, came over personally to apologise and sorted us out with a complimentary drink. A small gesture but it went a long way. The room was clean and comfortable. The décor is on the traditional side, which I’ll be honest isn’t really our thing as we’re in our 30s, but it’s well kept and I can absolutely see other guests loving the classic feel (coach trip customers aplenty). It’s more a matter of personal taste than anything else. What really made the stay was the people. Every member of staff we came across was genuinely lovely, but a special mention has to go to Marcus at the bar and Sylvia (I think that was her name) who were both brilliant. Friendly, attentive, and exactly the kind of people who make you feel like a welcome guest rather than just another booking. The one thing that caught us off guard was the £15 per night parking charge. I live in central London so I’m no stranger to paying for parking, but it still felt steep. We only found out afterwards that parking is free if you book direct through the hotel, and honestly that information needs to be front and centre during the booking process. It wouldn’t have put us off staying, but it might have changed how we booked. Minor gripes aside, we had a really enjoyable stay and would happily recommend it.

Nice base to explore the surrounding areas ,poole Boscombe etc . Great location for beach and shops. Added bonus of a swimming pool to relax x

Seaview was spectacular. Cleanliness and amenities needs updating and improvement.

We enjoyed our stay but the room was too hot! It felt like a sauna, we didn’t sleep at all. The pool is very nice!

Booked a single room was given a small double with side sea view which was a lovely bonus. Fridge in room

Stayed in one of the recently renovated accessible rooms, there was plenty of space and the bathroom was well equipped making the stay easier. The staff were all attentive and friendly will definitely be back
