Before booking, we read the description of the hotel and the reviews and looked at the location on Google Maps. When we arrived, we found that the hotel and room were exactly what we thought we'd get -- a quiet, very clean, and thoughtfully designed space in a location that allowed for a cheaper price. It's a pleasant and easy (assuming health and ability) 15-minute stroll into town. There's plenty of safe parking. The communal kitchen is a brilliant addition, though we didn't use it on this occasion. Everything felt fresh and clean.
Some reviewers have complained about the cold taps in the bathroom, but we had both hot and cold taps, seemingly new. Some have complained about the cold bathrooms, but we had a bathroom heater that could be set for up to four hours and warmed the space nicely. Some reviewers commented that not having a reception desk felt a bit weird, but we've stayed at places like this in other countries when travelling and were perfectly happy with the arrangement. When I asked a question by email, even late in the evening, I got a reply very quickly.
We were very happy with our stay and would easily stay there again.
All good but the online check in process was cumbersome and time consuming. You must remember to have ID DOCUMENTS on you when you start this process. Once inside it took me a while to locate the key boxes… I couldn’t see any signs telling me where they were. Otherwise room and cleanliness were excellent . I’d stay again and it would be easier as I now have the experience of how it all works.
