Very pretty property, with a great view. A little distance from the city center, but they run a most friendly and flexible shuttle into town that works great, very good idea and a very commendable effort. Breakfast is good. We had a large room (2 adults 2 kids) very spacious. Some aspects of maintenance could be improved, but it is always a challenge with these country homes, they have the charm, but not everything is impecable. A little on the expensive side, but reasonable. Great parking.

Adorable and quaint boutique hotel beautifully located on a little creek. Staff was very pleasant and stay was perfe t for a night before our cruise out of Southampton. Breakfast was perfect and parking was right in front of hotel.. Try and get a riverview stay if you can!

Always good to stay here, nice rooms, free parking and great location. A lovely 15 minute walk into the city centre.
Could really do with a decent coffee machine in the room. And a local beer on tap, other than love this place

Friendly and helpful staff. We parked easily at the hotel and the receptionist ordered us a taxi. On our return we were shown to our rooms which were clean, bright and comfortable. The shuttle bus into Salisbury was a great idea and the driver was lovely. We had a drink in the hotel bar, again the staff were very helpful.
After a good nights sleep in the comfortable bed, breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The hotel setting is beautiful too, sadly it was too cold and wet to sit on the terrace but it would be fantastic on a warm summers day.

The hotel has been fully refurbished to a very high standard and is located in a quiet area of Salisbury. Yet it is within easy walking distance of the City, plus there is plenty of free parking on site !
The only downside is that Dinner is not available at the hotel. However a free shuttle service is provided into the City Centre.
Would definitely recommend the Riverside Hotel for a City break.

A lovely hotel, staffed by people who seem to take great pride in their work.
It's a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre, but that's no bad thing, as the walk is pretty (especially across the water meadow) and there's a shuttle bus in the evening.

Clean room picked riverside four poster . Not really a great riverside view due to flat roof . Water in the evening for the shower was like warm
We did mention it and the morning it was sorted . Parking was good and easy . Lovely walk into the city . I thought breakfast was included and considering we already paid £215 midweek I think it was quite expensive without breakfast

Excellent in every way. Easy to get to, responsive staff, comfortable spacious room, perfectly maintained, and a short scenic walk into town via the cathedral grounds. I'd list negatives but there weren't any.

Really enjoyable stay. I didn't realise they had no restuarant for the evening, however they do offer a shuttle service in to the town centre which will drop & collect you at a time that suits you

Great location by a river, overlooking the water meadows to Salisbury Cathedral. No lift, but staff showed us to our room and helped with luggage. The hotel runs a useful free minibus into the centre each evening, to enable easy access to local restaurants. Pleasant bar and terrace. A lovely short break.
