We had 3 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves
We made the most of the lovely pool. Had 4 swims in the 4days… the leisure staff were always so helpful and friendly. Very impressed with that and their happy attitudes.
We enjoyed the 5*breakfast and ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings. The food was excellent and lots of choice. The staff were super helpful and efficient.
Our room was serviced by excellent staff and one particular member really stood out to make our stay comfortable (Simran) … she was consistently super happy and helpful each day.
Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed all the places of much interest close by. Don’t miss Skipton Castle, Grassington, Haworth amongst just a few places. We didn’t get to experience the new restaurant but hope to visit again in the future.

We stayed as a family as we were attending a funeral in skipton. Hotel conveniently located overlooking the canal. Hotel was undergoing some renovations work but it didn’t spoil our stay - breakfast relocated to first floor but was good selection and nice and hot. Staff really helpful
And freindly - would love to go back when we have more time.

The hotel is undergoing renovation work but it didn’t spoil our stay - the staff were so helpful and kind as we were staying to attend a family funeral. We had a lovely room overlooking the canal at a good price which was fortunate for our family as we needed 4 rooms. The hotel is about a Mile out of skipton overlooking the canal and countryside.
Breakfast is temporarily being served upstairs while the restaurant is refurbished- it was buffet style and nice and hot and good value . Overall really pleased with our stay 👍😊

We have stayed at the Skipton hotel on a number of occasions and always felt that it was good value for money. There has been some improvements to the property in particular the restaurant. Unfortunately there has been a deterioration in the breakfast!! The coffee served from a heated urn was not hot and when I remarked on this the waitress lifted the lid and remarked well there was steam! The breakfast area was rather cramped which made serving yourself difficult and again the hot breakfast was not hot. Even the eggs fresh from the kitchen were only luke warm. We were very disappointed with our experience and since on this occasion we had to pay extra for breakfast, I don’t think we will be venturing to the Skipton hotel again.

Evening meal consisted of a frozen pizza, certainly not fresh made on site. Breakfast was boring uninviting standard English. Bedroom was "tired"
There were notices saying that they are refubishing. It wood have been nice to be advised on this when booking. I certainly dont think the room charge was taking the above into account

We stayed at the then Rendezvous Hotel a couple of years ago and it looked tired. The restaurant, food and service were generally all good. A couple of years later and under new management, we expected some positive changes but unfortunately didn't experience anything that could be considered better than before. The rooms and especially the leisure club look like they need renovation and even though they are advertising one night stays during January offering dinner in the canalside restaurant, it was closed due to low resident numbers. In summary; overall it's tired and needs some renovation, service and staff were generally good and the meals not bad but relatively expensive.

I received wonderful service at ths beautiful Skipton Hotel. After a power outage in the first room, I was upgraded to a canal view. The atmosphere of the warm and friendly - staff saw to all needs without fault.
