We came from Gare de Pau ( train) and took a cab for $15 , double of the price .it is a standard for all the taxi. If you are staying here , take L5 bus , it goes to the sanctuaries ( grotto& church) and they stop at Hotel Paradis only for $1 pp good for 1 hr. The room is big and has a ref, and water heater for coffee. Excellent hotel.

Hôtel à la deco un peu vieillotte mais le personnel est adorable, accueillant et réactif. Ce qui est très agréable. Le buffet petit dej très complet. Nous avions pris la demi-pension, le dîner du soir est moyen voir pas terrible selon le chef qui est de service.
Nous reviendrons l’année prochaine, nous reprendrons la formule petit déjeuner mais pas de demi-pension.
Je recommande pour l’équipe, la proximité du sanctuaire et la facilité de stationnement.
C’est bon rapport qualité/prix.

Staff are helpful however carpet on hallway going to the rooms needs shampooing, looks dirty . 6 days stay, room was not hovered. I booked this hotel because it has aircondition. They did not inform us that we need to tell them to turn it on if we want the aircondition. They turn aircondition off they said at 9am. Most days it was turned off at 8am. Need to ring the reception to turn it on. A bit inconvenient if you want lying in.
