Situation loin de la plage, chambre vieillotte mais propre, petit déjeuner simple mais efficace. Le bruit des clients dans les escaliers (ça raisonne et ça craque) est très dérangeant à mon goût je ne sais pas si mettre de la moquette amenuiserait le bruit. Rapport qualité-prix correct dans l'ensemble.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. L'accueil est exceptionnel tant le personnel, que ce soit à l'hôtel ou à la brasserie, est souriant, serviable et aimable. La chambre est spacieuse, très propre et fonctionnelle. Nous avons également apprécié le petit déjeuner et le dîner à la brasserie. Le rapport qualité/prix est indéniable. Nous ne pouvons que recommander l'hôtel du Phare.

Plus: -Die Rezeption hat bis 23:00 Uhr geöffnet. -Das Zimmer war sauber. Minus: -Eine Kommunikation mit dem Hotel war nicht möglich. Unsere vorherigen Anfragen via Expedia (ist die Rezeption wirklich offen wg. Fährankunft um 22:00 Uhr) wurden am nächsten Tag nur mit vorgefertigten nichtssagenden Texten beantwortet. -Unser Zimmer war alt und verschlissen und es lag ein Geruch in der Luft (Schweiß?) -Das angekündigte WLAN war non existent. -Sobald das Licht aus war, überfielen uns circa 20 Stechmücken, an Schlaf war nicht zu denken. (Am Morgen stellt sich heraus, dass im Hof vor dem Fenster ein Wasserbehälter steht, aus dem die Mücken wohl kamen). -Das Frühstücksbuffet war um 9:00 Uhr mehr oder weniger leergeräumt. Der Kellner kam nur missmutig und unter Beschwerden unserer Bitte nach, uns Besteck und Tassen bereitzustellen und das Buffet wieder aufzufüllen.

Great hotel of you are catching the early ferry, you can see the ships come into the port from the terrace. Excellent evening meal. 👍

Lovely quaint hotel. Staff attentive and helpful. As per other reviews yes there are no lifts second floor rooms are a slight hike up. Yes the rooms could do with upgrading but for what you pay for a night and an ease of access to the port no complaints from us. We had a family quadruple room, good size but really warm room, no air con small windows but lots of road noise when open

On arrival we were immediately told "no breakfast" which was really disappointing since we had a long journey ahead of us and would have liked at least a coffee to start the day! We ended up at a nearby bar and bought coffee and fortunately, the last 2 croissants they had. The room did not smell very pleasant and we would not stay again.

We were sorry that the restaurant was not open . We were over night to get the ferry the room was comfortable.

Nicely painted room #16 with dormer window looking out to sea and ferry. Unfortunately the hotel WiFi doesn't reach to this room, but you can access it from the lobby area. Note that the toilet seat slips off and needs some fixing.

Hôtel en réfection, les chambres sont correctes mais très anciennes sur la décoration. Point négatif, nous nous sommes retrouvés sans eau chaude le matin dans la douche, eau tiède limite froide. Le personnel à l’accueil a été agréable mais personne le dimanche matin, revient qu’à 13h.

Very convenient walk from the Ferry dock. Room was just what we needed. The bathroom could use a bit of an update, but the restaurant is under renovation so it will soon look great I bet.

Phew where to start: no lift, room smelt like sewer gas. The carpet was stained. The toilet seat didn't fit properly, the shower took ages to get warm.

Simple hotel. Clean, comfortable bed, strong shower and the food in the evening was great. Will definitely use again for ferry as you are there in less than 5 minutes.
