Bereits der Empfang vor dem offiziellen Check-In war geprägt von wohltuender Gastfreundschaft. Rasch das Zimmer gleicher Klasse gewechselt, einen Parkplatz organisiert und über Baden Baden informiert. Ein super Start in eine angenehmes Wochenende. Das Zimmer war einmalig! Gross, sauber, perfekt eingerichtet, eine Wohltag einige Stunden zur Erholung im Zimmer zu verbringen. Herausheben möchte ich Herrn Hirsch jun. Ich kam viel in der Welt herum, ab so was von gelebter Gastfreundschaft hatte ich noch nie erlebt! Wir fühlten uns wirklich als Gast und nicht als jemand der einfach ein Zimmer gemietet hat und zügig bezahlt und wieder geht. Das Merkur kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Danke Herr Hirsch!

Freundlicher Empfang.. Gut geführtes Hotel Schönes Zimmer .. etwas kleines Bad .. aber nicht schlimm Frühstück sehr schön präsentiert .. alle Speisen sehr frisch und lecker.. wird sicher nicht das letzte mal sein .. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.. Herzlichen Dank an alle !

It was very poor, arrived to check in and my room had no electricity, and the staff didn’t appear to care. The following morning, there was no hot water, and again the staff didn’t care, instead of offering an apology, just said how hard it was for them. My room was also not very clean, and the bed was quite uncomfortable. All of the staff had quite a surly attitude and didn’t appear to care. The only redeeming factor was the breakfast, which was good, but nothing exceptional. Overall, very disappointing, especially when you factor in how expensive it is! I recommend avoiding!

We had a pleasant overnight stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, both at checkin and during breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good and well organized. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy. The location is also excellent perfect for exploring the city on foot. A small downside was that there was no air conditioning in the room. In addition, we feel that the mattresses and pillows could use improvement or replacement, as they were not very comfortable. Overall, definitely recommended and a hotel where hospitality clearly comes first!

We only stayed one night, they were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were comfortable with noticeable upgrades for an older building. Breakfast was very good with lots of options but most of all the location to shopping can’t be beat for the price. We will return to this hotel.
