I came for the view from the roof bar, very nice and relax. Receptionists are giving much help and spaces are very open and free to relax.

Hotel staff were friendly and Blu was very clean. Great place for conferences. With great pool in rooftop. Which I didn’t use actually. Not so much for doing touristy things nearby. However, metro and buses very close walk nearby. View of Acropolis is through binoculars in rooftop restaurant. I personally wanted to be closer.

Central with a friendly staff. There was quite a bit of construction on our floor which was unpleasant, but for one night in an out of Athens was a good choice. The rooftop bar was also surprisingly delightful, and the serving staff was very accommodating

Had requested early check in weeks ago. Told NA when we arrived. Had no response to my email. People were getting into rooms before we were despite sitting in the lobby waiting

Bottle of Champagne in room. Wanted to take to rooftop pool area because room was facing an interior light well! Roof top had a bar and restaurant! They would not let us drink our wine on the roof so we gave it back and ordered from the bar! Would not let us sign to room!. Said we did not give CC for extras! No one asked for it! Then the waitress wanted to argue about it?!!!! We left feeling not welcome!!

Leider waren wir nicht begeistert von diesem Hotel. Das Rooftop ist schön und das Restaurant sehr gut, die Zimmer sind aber wirklich nicht dem Standard angemessen. Hier ist dringend eine Renovierung nötig. Das fängt schon bei kleinen Sachen wie Löchern in den Vorhängen, ausgefransten Handtüchern und verschmierten Wänden an. Unverständlich, dass solche kleinen Verbesserungsmaßnahmen in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie nicht durchgeführt werden. Hier gibt es in Athen viel bessere Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Der Pool, unser ursprünglicher Grund für die Wahl des Hotels, war außerdem sehr klein und sehr überfüllt. Die Gegend ist leider auch nicht besonders angenehm, hier fühlt man sich als Gast leider nicht wohl.

The room was very small, the air was extremely dry, so that I got throat problems. The neighbors in the next room were partying with open doors until 5 am and nobody reacted from the reception. Next day I complained, they told me that it was a basketball team... And what? I couldn't sleep the whole night. They had really great rooftop pool, the only positive things about this hotel!

Lovely hotel. Clean spacious rooms, friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again.

Good breakfast and pool

I had a wonderful stay in Athens. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Athens so far—fresh, varied, and delicious. My upgraded room was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was that the AC didn’t cool the room quite enough, despite the on-duty front desk staff’s sincere efforts to improve it. Overall, a great experience and I’d be happy to return.

Good location, 5 mins from metro station. Slightly away from busy hustle and bustle of the main eating and shopping areas. Around a 30 minute walk to the main tourist area e.g. acropolis. Staff friendly and helpful. Room well equipped and modern. Great shower. Very effective air conditioning. Breakfast is a good option. Continental and buffet style. Would stay here again.

Very expensive food. Very noisy from outside noise. First room was opposite a block of flats with an alarm going off constantly on the first night. With my vip access I had to ask for the room upgrade which turned out wasn’t an upgrade it was exactly the same as the first room we were in with a view of trees and a dirty street. Felt unsafe around the hotel. Hotel lobby was clean and looked nice. Breakfast was good. Pool was good but quite limited sitting areas. Seems they just concentrated on the lobby and swimming area and forgot about the rest of the hotel. Gym was tired and equipment was old. Just not sure how this has got the rating of a 5 star hotel. 3/4 star at best!

We had a wonderful 2-nights stay, and i must say that the service in this hotel is of really high standard, compared to what we have experienced elsewhere in Greece. Extremely people at the reception desk, as well as the portier and parking valey personnel. The room was nice and clean, and quite spacious. Great roofbar and restaurant. Breakfast was by far the best and most various I have experienced in Greece, what a delight. The staff asked for my daughters name the first morning, and rememberred it the next - this is the small things that gives a 5-star review in my book. :-) As for the hotel - it is in a great neighbourhood, beautiful park just across the street, and the Akropolis is in walking distance. A perfect match for our wishes.
