I spent 4 nights n this hotel in a room for the disabled even though I am not handicapped. The location of this hotel provides you with easy access to the main tourist attractions like the Fontana Pretoria and it's just a 15-minute walk to the bus and train terminal (if not carrying a luggage). The main entrance is not on Via Maqueda, so you have to pass through a small pathway with some stinky rubbish bins to get to the hotel. Well, it's quite common to see rubbish bins poorly handled in Palermo. There are some bars and pubs in a nearby street but the discos are far away. The room was quite dim and run-down. There are always disturbing sounds from the pipeline, from the other room or from the corridors. I could hardly sleep in the morning. Maybe I usually stay in the room in the morning, no cleaning service was provided on the first 2 days. The hotel staff, no matter the morning shift or evening shift were very helpful d tried their best to accommodate my need. If the hotel can possibly be renovated in future, I still think that it's a bargaining choice.

The wifi is weak signal in the room..should go out side of room can used. not really convenience for me. room is clean amd nice.

The hotel is located in a quiet street, and is near lots of restaurants. My room was fine for one night, smallish, with a single bed, and clean. The AC functioned well, but the TV had no English language channels. I missed out on breakfast as I had to leave early to make my flight. So I would recommend the Columbia for travelers to Palermo.

The room was spacoious and clan the staff always ready to attend to our needs The breakfast was great, specially the cakes and pies Centrally located too

We were welcomed on arrival and staff were friendly. Breakfast was continental buffet and adequate for our needs. Served 7.30-10 and on our second morning whilst nearly finishing our breakfast at 10 to 10 staff pointed to the sign which made us feel we shouldn’t be there. The room was adequate, two twin beds, air conditioning and bathroom. The bathroom was sort of clean but the shower cubicle tiles and sealant was mouldy. The plastic water cup was filthy and obviously not been checked or cleaned in a while. There was a small high window that you had to stand on to open. Overall the hotel which was adequate for sleeping, it’s location was quiet and close to tourist areas and felt really safe.

Perfekt beliggenhed. Tæt på alt, men i fred og ro. Morgenmad ok, men ikke voldsomt sund… Mest kager og søde sager.

Huone ja tilat olivat mielestäni puhtaat, mutta kuluneet. Huomionarvoista on, että hotellissa ei ole hissiä! Aamiaispöydässä tarjotutut tuotteet olivat hyviä. Pöytäliinan päällä oli suojamuovi. Hotellin eteen ei saa taksia. Lähtiessä se tuli kuitenkin lähelle. Hotelli on keskustan sykkeessä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä.

J'y ai séjourné une nuit, pour moi le rapport qualité prix est cohérent‚ de plus il est très bien situé au centre de Palerme et pour finir le petit déjeuné est correct.

Staff was helpful, warm and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was good, I enjoyed the decor.

the location is excellent. the room is descent, but the key system is a bit awkward. the breakfast is very dominated by bread and sweet breads.

Mycket prisvärt hotell, med mycket bra läge. Frukost ingår trots att det inte framgår vid bokning. Enda nackdel: bo på tredje våningen utan hiss. En labyrint av trappor för att hitta ut.

A lovely clean hotel in a perfect location with wonderful friendly staff. If I had to be picky then the shower could do with an upgrade. I would stay here again.

Lovely large room with painted ceilings in the centre of town. Great place.
