I have stayed in quite many different hotels and this Riad is one of the best accommodations I have ever experienced. After a long trip from Sahara desert, I was stunned by the serene vibe of this Riad and had a refreshing shower here. The facilities and room were clean and it showed a traditional Moroccan style in detail. The breakfast was absolutely amazing as to my surprise, I tasted one of the best yogurt. However, it would be better if they could deliver the breakfast quicker. I was in a rush but it seems most of the guests needed to wait for more than 30 mins for the breakfast. Some staff could not speak basic English so it had a hard time communicating the needs at first. There can be some random strangers in the street at night. Remember not to follow them even they tried to sell you or claim to know the boss of this hotel.

This is a beautiful riad with a large, central, high-ceilinged room. This is the main space of the riad, and it is beautiful. The decor is lovely and finely detailed. This was the prettiest and most artful riad we stayed in during our Morocco trip. They kindly upgraded us (for free) to a nicer room that was available (we didn't even ask for this, so we appreciated it). The rooms were beautiful as well. There is a nice rooftop area, and we sat and watched the sunset (and some of the World Cup) up there. It has an expansive view of Fes. The riad is well-located, and it's a few minutes walk to the Medina. Fes itself is rather narrow and windy in the medina, and this area is no different. The two men working the riad during our two-night stay were very kind and gracious. As I said, one of the best places we stayed during our 2-week trip. Excellent.

Wow!! Where do I start Ali and Ibrahim went above and beyond with their service, they truly know what hospitality means, they made us feel home and welcome in our stay. So professional and kind. The incredible service they provide was just crazy, we don’t have the words to describe it, not only the food was great, but the cleanliness of this place was just amazing, we didn’t eat out side of this Riad, as the food was amazing and plenty (when I say plenty, trust me it was plenty). I am glad we choose this stay by far best stay we have stay in while visiting Morocco. Ibrahim is in training, but his service and professionalism showed he had been working in this Riad for years he had answers for everything and just a pleasant persona all around. I would stay here again no doubt.

This Riad was perfect and has everything you need: breakfast, dinner, a beautiful scenery and spectacular rooftop views of the Old Medina. The staff were unbelievable especially Fatima, Mohammed and Fakima. This is the Riad to stay if you want to have an unforgettable experience in Fes.

The property was clean. The staff when above and beyond. Mohammed and Ali made us feel at home. Recommendations provided in terms of places to see and how to get there created an experience we will never forget. A definite return for us….

Had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at Riad Alassala. The courtyard was heavenly and and the roof terrace is underrated. What made the stay extra special was the wonderful staff. Muhammad and Ali went above and beyond, we felt welcome, respected and felt like old acquaintances. Ali was a delight to talk to and would even stay up waiting for our safe return. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and our experience was amazing and in line with what we expected from a Riad as opposed to a hotel.

We loved the beauty of the Riad courtyard and our room. We also loved the rooftop terrace of the Riad. We had one of our dinners up on the rooftop and we spent quite a bit of time enjoying the view of the medina and city from there. Breakfast was so-so and definitely not even close to one of the best we had compared to most of the other places we stayed in Morocco. The dinners were also not very good compared to other guest houses and restaurants we ate at in Morocco so we wouldn't recommend having your dinner there during your stay. We were especially disappointed with the dinner service one evening when the waiter spent a good 20 minutes chatting with a single woman dining alone instead of bringing us the salt and pepper we asked for. Lastly, we would highly recommend parking your car in the secure parking area instead of the street parking located just inside the medina. Finding and getting to the street parking was an absolute nightmare and complete waste of time. Then the scammers on the street demanded payment for parking there after we were told by the Riad it was free to park on the street. The staff from the Riad was no help when it came to dealing with the parking scammer. Do yourself a favour and just pay a bit more to park in the secured parking area. At least you won't have to deal with all the scammers in the medina and you will probably end of having a more relaxing experience.

Ali was very helpful

Room was clean, Ali took extra time to make sure we knew which direction to head in when we needed an ATM, Taxi, or how to get to the different tourist sites. The traditional breakfast was delicious, they explained the significance behind each dish and how it was made. Would definitely stay here again!

The Riad is beautiful , has a rooftop , has a restaurant, food is excellent, Ali and Mohamed are the perfect host with perfect English and super helpful. The air conditioning perfect , the bathroom was tiny but the water pressure was perfect with hot and cold water. Probably I would have book a bigger room but I was happy with the tiny room. The location is accessible to the blue gate, and to request a taxi, is walkable. Very clean. If you leave before breakfast time ,you tell them and they will give you something to go. I would definitely stay here again. They even can wash your clothes for a fee. Breakfast is international the tea and orange juice excellent.

we were nervous when we first arrived because we had to travel thru the medina to get to the Riad...the roads were like alleys-dark, spooky..like going thru a maze...google maps were not accurate..however, once we found it and came inside, Alassala was fabulous, the staff was excellent, the food was good, the rooms were fabulous, one staff member "Ali" went out of his way to help us with suggestions of where to go and how to get there

This was my second trip to this wonderful Riad. It is beautiful and friendly. My home base in Fes!

Excellent séjour dans ce magnifique Riad à quelques minutes à pied des rues commerçantes de la médina. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel. Un vrai plaisir de déguster un thé à la menthe en fin de journée sur la terrasse pour profiter du soleil déclinant.

La stanza molto bella il bagno anche,un po' stretta la seduta del water ,unica pecca all' arrivo in camera ci siamo fatti un tè alla menta, il giorno dopo rientrati dalla medina non avevano cambiato i bicchieri e non avevano messo altre bustine di tè , e la doccia era fredda ,però la colazione e stata ottima come pure il personale che ci serviva la colazione e che ci ha accolto il primo giorno ,dunque super soddisfatto di tutto a parte la doccia la seconda sera
