1the reception clerks are really helpful for odering boat ticket and recommend ing the canal museum for us. 2 the 1 floor double room is really small and even can't use toilet with enough space.

Breakfast was the best part of old hotel as the lady in breakfast area was helpful She provided Gluten free bread every morning for me I did not have to ask again I had to ask the male check-in staff to open double door to get my walker through door then he did not help lift my bag up step or help disappointing as I am 76 years old Old hotel No Air conditioning Bathroom small and shower leaked everywhere they new about it just gave extra towels for floor Within walking distance of main Amsterdam rail station and central to Amsterdam canals etc.

We had a great stay. Our only issue was it did feel a bit dark and lacked fresh air. Location was fabulous, staff really friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed breakfast. Thanks

Absolutely lovely staff, very accommodating. Because my mum has mobility issues and breakfast was at level -1 (no lift downstairs,just upstairs) we were able to have breakfast at another hotel very close by. Room very clean, big comfortable bed, however no window per se (led into a poorly lit inner courtyard), but I think again this room was chosen for us as it was the most accessible one. Hence room was very dark. All in all, really affordable accommodation in an excellent location close to the central train station and city centre / canals.

Room clean. No tv and wardrobe not great. Very noisy, on the roof with extractors close to window on all night. Staff super friendly and accommodating, at night, and day.

Das Hotel wirkte nicht ausgebucht, trotzdem haben wir bei Hitze das Zimmer im Dachgeschoss bekommen. Das Wetter blieb leider bis zur Abreise heiß und lüften ging nur übers Badezimmer. Dementsprechend laut war dann auch die Nacht. Betten wurden leider nicht frisch bezogen, selbst als ich darauf aufmerksam gemacht habe indem ich es abgezogen habe, wurde das Bettlaken einfach als Haufen drauf gelegt. Frühstück war okay, leider unflexibel. Am ersten Tag gab es lecker Müsli, am 2 Tag wurde eine andere Sorte in die selbe Dose gekippt (haben wohl nur eine) als ich nach der anderen Sorte fragte ging es nicht. Also musste ich zum verpackten Knäckebrot greifen, weil die Brötchen und das Toast nicht so richtig gut waren und auch nicht satt machten. Im großen und ganzen war es okay , zumal es das günstigste Hotel in der Lage war, das nächste Mal würde ich da aber mit Lage oder Preis Abstriche machen und woanders einchecken

Great location, nice room and Harry (or Henry) at the front desk was excellent! Breakfast was good and we had a lovely stay there!

This is a very good hotel if you are a solo traveler. The staff was pretty friendly and you are right near the train station, city center, and canals. Would definitely stay again. Love the city.

hotel comodissimo per la posizione centralissima, nel complesso tutto accettabile ma la collocazione della camera improponibile per persone anziane o con leggere difficoltà motorie. assolutamente da non prenotare la camera per due persone con idromassaggio, unica disponibile al momento della prenotazione. Essa è raggiungibile tramite una mini scaletta in legno che sembra un'arrampicata. Patrizia Catastini

Siisti huone. Rappusia ikävän paljon polvivammaiselle, mutta Amsterdamin keskustassa tuppaa näin olemaan. Aamiainen suht köyhä. Paahtoleipää, leikkeleet, juusto ja keitetty muna. Mehua ja kahvikone. Ei mitään lämpimiä tai kasviksia.

Breakfast was very basic with few choices. Room was quiet but be aware room 2142 is on the 4th floor. We should have been told this and instead lugged suitcases up steep steps. Bathroom was very small and mostly clean. Desk help was cordial.
