The hotel has a perfect location, very convenient to access to all the shopping and dining areas. The hotel may not easy to find for the first time as the front door is not obvious, but you will love its location afterwards. Beware that the surrounding would be quiet after 8pm and homeless people may be found near the church. It is just 5-mins walk to Baixa-Chiado Metro Station and also close to the Elevator de Santa Justa and other must-visit spots. Staff are very helpful and informative. Hotel is modern and clean. Room is spacious and with a large bathroom. Just one drawback that the hotel is reformed from an old building that the lift is stopped on every other single floor i.e. 1st, 3rd and 5th floor, just in case if u stay on the 2nd floor, you need to walk downstairs.

Excellent sejour au sein de cet hotel. Entre l'accueil, la propreté de la chambre et l'emplacement, je ne peux que recommander. Point fort: la localisation, propreté, climatisation, l'accueil Point negatif: les travaux voisins à 7h du matin mais ils n'y peuvent rien

Grösstenteils sauber. Das Zimmer war relativ ringhörig (Strassenbahn etc. laut hörbar). Das Frühstück ist sehr minimal gehalten und man muss sich in Zeitschichten eintragen lassen (je nachdem ist die gewünschte Schicht bereits voll). Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, super Klimaanlage. Für einen kurzen Städtetrip in Ordnung.

This boutique gem in the heart of Lisbon has quickly become my favorite hotel in the city. I stayed in a corner room on the fourth floor, a beautifully appointed room with no fewer than three balcony doors flooding it with light. The décor strikes a perfect balance between classic and contemporary, with thoughtful design details throughout. The staff deserve a special mention. Warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful with every request, exactly the kind of service that elevates a stay from good to memorable. The location is hard to beat: right in the historic downtown, within walking distance of Lisbon's best sights, yet surprisingly easy to reach from the airport. A rare combination. The only minor downside was some street noise at night, the price of staying in a lively city center. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper and it won't be an issue at all. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a characterful, well-run boutique hotel in central Lisbon. I'll be back.

Our stay at The 8 Downtown Suites was exceptional! The room was lovely, modern and clean. The hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff were delightful. Recardo who checked us in and was on the desk for the duration of our stay could not have been more helpful and charming. He gave us a map and happily answered any questions and recommended things we could do in the local area. A truly lovely stay, highly highly recommend.

Rooms were clean and well equipped with additional pillows and towels. There were blackout curtains and very little street noise so it was easy to get a good sleep. There was always someone at the front desk to help out. Excellent location, very walkable to all the sights!
