爱丁堡万豪万怡酒店

酒店正在進行大裝修，但沒有預先通知客人，亦不明白為什麼會安排房間就在工程樓上一層，取房時為下午5點，沒有察覺問題，但由早上八點開始，極大裝修噪音滋擾不停幾小時，連在reception 工作人員都戴著耳塞工作。

沒有提供牙刷牙膏和拖鞋，前枱說只有premium才提供，那就不是環保理由了

房間窗對住天井非常暗，白天也需要開燈幫助採光，對面房間可以完全見到房間內的

Move hotel.in a great location near a Tram stop, train station and the bus station. 10 minutes walk to the Royal Mile. Staff was very friendly and competent. They let us check in early after our overnight flight, so that's worth it's weight in gold. Rooms are nice enough, although I can't understand why I have to have a tiny sink when there is certainly room for a normal one. And whoever decided smoked glass doors with half inch gaps for the bathrooms should be fired. Finally, press for upper floors as the first three are kind of under ground despite them saying they are not. We were on the first floor with a view of a car that parked there at 7am each day. All that being said, we would likely stay here again.

The staff at the reception desk was great and friendly. It was a speedy check in process and they offered great recommendations. The bar was great, Nick, the bartender was attentive and knowledgeable about beers and whiskey, important part of the trip. The room was decent and the gym did its job.

Beds absolutely awful really uncomfortable

Lovely hotel, majority of the staff were friendly. Great breakfast. Location was perfect. Only negative was the cleaning staff, I’m a morning person and every time I encountered one of the cleaning staff and wished them good morning I was ignored. Reception staff and breakfast staff were lovely and helpful in every possible way.

Starting with the good part. The staff at breakfast couldn't have been more pleasant, welcoming and helpful. A lovely start to each of our three days. We had an issue with one of the twin beds which we didn't notice until a late bed time and thus we couldn't speak to reception until the following morning. There was an issue with the "topper" mattress where it appeared to have been washed at an incorrect temperature, there were lumps the size of soup plates. We reported it to reception and went out for the day. On our return, the topper quite clearly hadn't been changed. We went back to reception who contacted housekeeping who reported they had no more "toppers" and that they were being ordered. I pointed out to reception that this didn't rectify the issue we had. We were offered another room as a solution. Not ideal with the hassle of repacking our luggage again, but certainly a remedy. It appears that no one would have dealt with the topper situation had we not complained about it twice. Both rooms were slightly tired. Scuffs on the paintwork on the walls. There was a seal from one of the windows that had become detached. The dial cover fell off the shower tap and also on the electronic key fob on the door. As mentioned at the beginning, the breakfast dinning room staff were exceptional. Unfortunately the same buzz couldn't be said for the reception staff. No real interest or engagement with the guests.

Ideal location if going to a show at the playhouse and for eating close by. Also shops not far either
