Wasn’t quite the room we thought we were getting, but excellent. On the less. Love staying at the mal!

The room was very dated, the floorboards were broken and the whole room was creaking. Every time anybody walked past you room it sounded like they were in the room with you.

The floorboards in the room were very creaky which disturbed our sleep. When we complained they said all the rooms on that floor and that lobby were all like that & the hotel was full so couldn’t move us anyway.

Fab Suite room. Enjoy cocktails for welcome drinks. Breakfast and Dinner was really nice. Such a great atmosphere. Andrews and the team was friendly and great hospitality. Special thanks to Andrews, who quickly sorted out the bill issue for us.Hope to be back. All the best.

Starting to look tired , in need of renovation

Lovely hotel and staff are a credit to it. First Class Sunday lunch and overnight. receptionist Upgraded us as it was my birthday. Thank you Malmaison Glasgow

Fantastic hotel Great room and staff were very hospitable Restaurant was great both dinner and breakfast were excellent and lovely staff We will definitely return for another visit.

We upgraded to the best available room, however i felt the finish in the room was poor, pipe work in bathroom, cracked tiles etc, just looked a bit tired. When checking in we enquired about late check out, but werent given an answer and were told we would be contacted. We werent. Phoned reception numerous times, but all calls, unanswered. The area for sitting in the room was too dark. The bedroom up stairs isnt a good idea, too far from the bathroom. The worst part was the sleep quality, the light from the air con control panel lit up the whole bedroom area and made it difficult to sleep. Very disappointed. On check out i was ready to pass on my comments, but we werent asked how our stay was, so never bothered saying anything as they clearly dont care for guest feedback. Wouldnt stay again

Hotel team were very nice and welcoming. Room was clean and had all the items required for a comfortable stay. I booked for 2 nights and traded a room clean for a drink at the bar, worth the trade! Only had 2 issues… my room had a street lamp right outside the window and a blackout option would help with sleeping. Small issue but did make sleeping a challenge! Secondly, shower couldn’t decide what temperature it wanted to settle on and during use fluctuated between warm and scorching! Easily fixed by the in-house plumber! Nice area and only a short walk from all the food and bars.

Really helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast fabulous. Lighting could do with enhancement, our room was quite dark and the brown lightshade didn't help with the grey and black decor.

Staff were nice but the area in the hotel we were in was loud. I was woken twice through the night by a dog whining and someone ceying in the hall so not very soundproof. The room was clean but a bit dated and they are not very generous with tea, milk etc

Room was ok but not great. Loud from bar and other adjacent rooms. Tough to get temp correct in room and unable to open windows. Bar experience fine but service was just ok. Likely last time we’ll stay at Mal Glasgow.

Good clean room.

Checknin was slick. Room was ok, towel had silicone and stains on. Pillows lumpy and flat, bed was ok. Heating was noisy, hot water was very hot and cold was warm. No face clth/wash cloth available. Bar closed early, we were told we couldnt order cocktails at 22.40 beer wine or simple drinks only. Breakfast was very good.

My wife and I were kept awake on Friday night by a very loud private party in the bar. We are both in our seventies. If we were told in advance we would not have booked the room. The music stopped at midnight.
