Fine hotel to stay at. Nothing remarkable. Swimming pool and beds are always full though.

We had a wonderful stay at Occidental Atenea Mar. The rooms were clean, and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The gym and rooftop pool area were great. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they were very accommodating to dietary restrictions. The location was excellent for us, about a block from the beach and quieter than the more central parts of Barcelona. Despite not being in the city center, it was still very easy to get to the main attractions, with bus stops and metros a short walk away. It was also pretty easy to get a taxi right from the hotel. Overall, we cannot recommend this place enough and hope to come back soon!!

Seaside location, friendly service, room was close to the rooftop pool entrance, hence a bit noisy.

Hotel numa região muito tranquila da orla de Barcelona. Excelente custo-benefício, euipe prestativa e educada, quartos confortaveis, limpos e novos. Uma das grandes surpresas da viagem, nada a reclamar, apenas elogios.

Overall a solid choice for our stay in Barcelona. The location is genuinely unbeatable. The staff was pleasant and helpful throughout. Check-out was quick and painless, though check-in took considerably longer than expected — worth keeping in mind if you arrive tired after a long flight. Two things that could use improvement: the pool is quite small for the size of the hotel, so don’t expect much if you’re hoping to relax by the water. The elevator is also notably old and cramped — if you’re traveling with luggage it can be a bit of an ordeal, especially during busy check-in and check-out times. That said, the rooms were comfortable and the location more than compensated for the minor inconveniences. Would stay again.

beautiful hotel close to the beach...

We needed to be close to the Conference center so very convenient. Bed was very comfortable, very quiet rooms. We loved the access to the beach. We also went to nearby Poblenou which felt less touristy and more ‘local’. Nice and convenient mall at Diagonal. Staff was very nice and helpful when we had questions

Super emplacement, personnel très agréable, chambre propre et bien équipée. Literie parfaite. Et très bon petit déjeuner

Great location in the path of the hop on hop off busses. Parking u Sergei d, close to beaches and the diagonal Mar (the mall).

It said there was parking at the hotel on the description but there was a 20 euro a day cost - perhaps I missed this information- and it is a reasonable cost for 24 hour parking but it came as a surprise at the end of the stay - other than that it was a great property and I would recommend it
