Lotus Friendly Hotel

The staff are really helpful and friendly. The air-con is cool enough and the speed of wifi is very satisfactory, which is not always the case in Thailand. However, some facilities are a bit old. Like, I could feel the springs of the mattress. There are a convenience store, restaurant other than the hotel's one, and Thai massage shops a few steps away. It is also very near to the beach and about 15 minutes walk to the shopping mall Central Festival, so it is still a choice worth to consider if one looks for accommodation with a limited budget.

It was close to the beach but the streets were extremely narrow.

I had 2 different rooms And both had problème with air conditioner Not enough cool

The property is close to the beach but you have to walk through another property/restaurant to get to the beach which I found odd. The restaurant was good, room was clean, the door didn’t stay closed properly unless it was locked but that was fine. They overcharge for the drinks in the minifridge considering there’s a 711 right next door where you can buy the drinks for a fraction of the cost.

The young lady in particular who checked me in and helped arranged a snorkelling trip was excellent. I was amazed, when I commented how good her English was, that she was elf taught from a book. She had a great smile and waved when I walked past. A really lovely welcoming feel.

Fint til et par overnatninger, men heller ikke mere. Vi boede har 3 uger, da vi skulle vandre rundt, og det virkede som et godt udgangspunkt, men… den daglige rengøring kommer først ved 4-5 tiden om eftermiddagen, så det passer lige med, når man kommer hjem fra dagens ture. En kende irriterende. Rengøring, 4/5 personer om ca. 5-10 minutter, og så er der stadig sand på gulvet. De tager ikke tømte 5 liters vanddunke med, heller ikke større papæsker, med medmindre man beder dem om det. Badeværelset virker ok, men trænger til renovering. Der er skimmelsvamp bl.a. ved vasken. Det ene vindue havde ikke glas i, men blot et tæt masket net, så det var en kamp for airconditionen at følge med. Der er særlige strandhåndklæder, men de bliver ikke skiftet, ikke engang på et 3 ugers ophold. Kattene på området kommer op på etagerne og var en dag, ved at tisse på vores sandaler. Som skrevet, fint til et par overnatninger, men forvent ikke det store.
