One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was exceptional. Thai hospitality truly is second to none, and every member of staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay special.
The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully maintained with twice-daily housekeeping. We really appreciated the extra touches like the beach bag and flip flops, along with the spa-quality dressing gowns and slippers, which added a real sense of luxury.
We were also incredibly lucky with our room location. It was right by the beach path, so we could see and hear the water, but it still felt completely private with no constant foot traffic passing by. It struck the perfect balance between being connected to the beach and having a peaceful, secluded space.
Breakfast was a real highlight. There was an incredible variety, from authentic Thai dishes to plenty of Western options, all fresh and beautifully prepared.
The pool area is massive and really well designed. Interestingly, it was never busy as most guests tend to gravitate towards the beach, which made it feel calm and uncrowded whenever we used it.
What really stood out overall was the combination of outstanding service, a peaceful and uncrowded atmosphere, and a stunning beachfront setting. It’s the kind of place that feels refined but never pretentious, and perfect if you’re looking to truly relax and switch off.

The hygiene of the breakfast buffet is not up to 5 star standards, and the choice are very limited.
The beach are so beautiful and generally the facilities are good, yet the kids club closed at 6pm is not convenient to family with kids.
Staff at the front desk are very nice, however staffs working in F&B outlets are impolitely or even no greetings to guest, they don’t even look at you when they talk to you. They should have more training.

住宿面積寬敞，設計貼心，舒服乾淨，酒店內員工招呼周到，主動提供服務，用心款客，不過，接載客人的司機就很有問題。我們在蘇梅島機場的 Santiburi 酒店櫃檯和預先約定的接觸點等了良久也見不到酒店員工(司機)，幸好有別間酒店員工同情我們遭遇而主動聯絡 Santiburi 的司機。雖然我們經此擾攘最後也順利抵達酒店，但我們即時向當值經理投訴詳情並拒絕簽單繳付此交通費。我們因為首次踏足蘇梅島，故肯多付50%的交通費給酒店，但更重要的是信任問題，希各方面審慎的處理此問題。15/2我們從蘇梅島機場飛回香港，3:30pm途經機場的酒店櫃檯，同樣無人當值。唉！不知又有多少人徬徨了。

Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne, große und gepflegte Gartenanlage. Man kommt sich fast wie in einem Jungle vor. Unsere Zimmer waren gross, aber renovierungsbedürftig! Allgemein ist die Hotelanlage in die Jahre gekommen und sollte renoviert werden. Der Service am Strand könnte aufmerksamer sein.

We stayed 4 nights at Santiburi and loved it! We had high expectations and we were not disappointed. We booked the basic Duplex suite. It was huge, clean and a wonderful location for us. The pool is hands down the nicest pool we have ever swam in. Perfect temperature, gorgeous surroundings and sparkling clean. The sea and sand was nice and the overall beauty of this vast resort was stunning. We enjoyed cocktails in the lounge serve expertly by Best or Junior. They know how to pour and serve a proper cocktail. We ate at the Beach House a few times. Their French intern/student was a wonderful addition to the staff. So polite and helpful. Breakfast was just WOW! On all of our travels this one gets 6 stars for offerings, service and room to move. No pushing and shoving here.
If we had to a negative, it might be that we weren’t fully aware of entertainment happening at the resort. Some things we missed as they don’t advertise much. Also the pool restaurant offered excellent food and drink. They really should pick up dirty dishes around the pool more often. They would sometimes sit out for hours. Just a small complaint!
We would love to return to Santiburi one day and would definately recommend!

- Also, the entire and generous garden area is very well and beautifully maintained.

It is 3 star hotel in reality. Very dated property with close to non entertainment and pretty dirty beach. 🏖️ if you still going to end up there, get Reserve upgraded villas. Those are pretty nice. Btw, resort is ridiculously overpriced. On bright side, the staff is very attentive and super helpful.

Das Personal war sehr sehr zuvorkommend und immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Strand und auch der Handtuchservice top. Beim Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl an thailändischen und europäischen Köstlichkeiten.
Das einzige Manko ist das Alter des Hotels das man leider an einigen Stellen sieht. Die Matratze war schon ziemlich durch und es gab einen alten Muff im Zimmer (allerdings haben wir nach einem Hinweis ans Personal täglich frisches Duftöl erhalten). Der Pool im Zimmer

Beautiful relaxing property. Lovely blend of thai design and luxury in a stunning setting. Far enough away for our family to relax, but still walkable to local eateries. We'd love to come back, and the staff were fantastic.

Die Mitarbeiter sind von der Reinigungskraft, das Servicepersonal, die Gärtner und der Manager einfach nur TOP.
Uns hat gestört, dass die Preise so übertrieben teuer sind. Wir haben für eine Portion trockenen Reis und 1x Mango Sticky Reis, mehr bezahlt, was dort ein Mitarbeiter am Tag verdient. Ausserdem hat uns extrem gestört, dass Raucher wenig Platz in dem Hotel haben. Dort ist einer der größten Pool der Insel, mit abständen zwischen den Liegen von teilweise 10-20m und man hat dort nur eine Bank in der Ecke, wo man rauchen kann. Selbst am Strand muss man an einen kleinen Tisch zum rauchen. Beim Frühstücken ist genug Platz und auch „räumliche“ Trennung, dass man einen Raucher und einen Nichtraucherbereich machen könnte.. wären die total übertriebene Preise nicht und es gäbe mehr Möglichkeiten zum rauchen, wären wir wieder gekommen..
