I stayed in Colwyn Bay for the Northern Eye Festival at Oriel Colwyn and the stay was very enjoyable. I was made to feel very welcome and was well looked after. It's a quiet little Guest House and only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town - I would definitely stay there again :-)

Breakfast was amazing, when it a full English they really meant it, room was spotless and bed was very comfortable. Would use again and highly recommend.

The full cooked breakfast was fresh and clean on the plate with no puddles of oil, could not fault it

The location was the only good thing about this b&b. Room was dirty, bathroom needed a good clean. Toilet waste dirty. Shower had mould on the grout. Used tissue at the side of the bed. No milk for the tea tray. Carpet had not been vacuumed and there was bits on the floor. The bed lookediked they just put any spare bedding on and nothing matched. I didn't sleep in the bed as duvet had marks on so god help the sheets. The pillows were flat. Not a good experience at all.

Diane and Chris lovely hosts. Diane works so hard. Room comfortable, bed large & comfy, tea, coffee, biscuits mints etc in room, plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. Breakfast fresh and hot served to taste as requested. Nice that there was a bar to sit in and have a chat. Good base for getting into Colwyn Bay, on a quiet road.

Breakfast was lovely couldn't fault it Bed was ok, not the most comfy for me but i have arthritic hips so no bed is! Other half said it was fine Room was clean, tea/coffee provided

La proprietaria molto gentile e premurosa. Colazione abbondante e tipica inglese. Unico appunto, le tende non sono oscuranti, per chi ha il sonno leggero al mattino la stanza si illumina presto

bathroom was not clean although the room was nice stingy with toilet tissue as no spare . no offer of fruit at breakfast or juice but this is a friendly place no proper signage outside as name seems to be rubbed off

Dianne and Chris are such wonderful hosts, making the whole family welcome from minute one. And the breakfast was tremendous, grapefruit segments and crispy bacon were a particular treat :-)

Comfortable room with onsuite facilities. I slept well.

The owner was super helpful and friendly. There was no issue with cleanliness and the bed was comfotable. Breakfast was wonderful, so much so that no more meals were needed for the rest of the day! A real belly buster!

Was greeted warmly by the hostess on arrival, she even offered to carry my bag up to my room! (I declined the kind offer!) The room was compact and en'suite with a sparkling bathroom, the shower was great with plenty of water pressure. The bed was a little uncomfortable but I was able to adjust it to my liking, when I mentioned this the hosts were very concerned and said they would give the bed a check out after I left. Breakfasts (I was there 2 nights) were lovely, fresh and well cooked. Nothing seemed to much trouble for the hosts and I was made to feel very welcome. I shall return.
